OMac is too slow, Frost has no idea what heโ€™s doing out their.

Time to drop them & bring Kielty & Petty in.

Thats better....that was pure anger from Gawn that kick

Good stuff Trac. He should be able to do that 4 times a game.

Get OFF him Stringer you dog

Too easy Demons....deesgraceful.

Why are both Viney and Jones on the bench yet a 2 gamer in Lockhart is in middle coughing up a hand ball for a goal??

Let's hope they're focused tonight....

And not on the banner !!!

It's not even half time against the Dons and OMac has leaked 5 times - 5 goals to the Dons. Demons losing badly. Get him out of our team.

Well we have our firstย Kent Kingsley Award For Spuds That Play Well Against Melbourne nominee.

Does our backline have a clue?

No.

Lockhart your ripper!

Shows what you can get from a bloke who hasn't been Melbourne'd yet.

This! Canโ€™t believe everyone is so down on their selection. I thought Corey was pretty good round 1 and was unlucky to be dropped. His disposal looks clean which is something we lack and he was hard at it. Josh looks inboard a lot...we can do with more of that too

They both (Wagners) bring with them some run and carry and mobility,ย  in the new space on grounds.

Great play Lockhart!ย  Nice spotting by Hunt! ?

Thatโ€™s the [censored] Jay did last year at Casey. Kid can [censored] play.

Itโ€™s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the ย Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measlyย 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?ย  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
