Interesting.

Wasn't JH's "open to leaving" declaration with the disclaimer that it had to be Freo?

Incidentally, what was his aversion to going to WC?  Recall someone saying a while back that he wouldn't go there?

They did, and they also used to be bigger.

Everything is getting so goddamn small these days.

Remember in the 'old days' where you could actually get your hand inside a Pringles tube?  Now only a little kid could do it, and I have to shake the [censored] out!  ?

Was a time you had to take a bite out of a Wagon Wheel. Now can cram the tiny bugger in ya gob in one go !!

Please be gold coast...

They probs wont even care about the darts

One of the key reasons many biscuits really have lost favour and texture in the last 10-15 years is the replacement of proper butter or vegetable oils with cheaper palm oil. Best part is, palm oil can still be labeled as 'vegetable' oil. Which is funny anyway because the oil is from a fruit.

That dull feeling in your mouth is basically the taste of dead orang-utans mixed with the tears of child labourers.

Mmmmm-mmmm.

Also, I hear Fremantle are now also offering a direct trade of their 500g of palm oil for our 1kg of full-cream butter. But who would even buy a biscuit from those dodgy buggers?

Some seriouse overreaction melts going down on this thread..

I don’t think it is an overreaction to be upset if the Tim Tam melts due to being held too long.

Hogan IS NOT A FREE AGENT NEXT YEAR

sorry to shout, but haven’t we gone through that several thousand times?

Well yes, hence the reference to going in the draft. At which Freo will have one of the first picks.

Could just as easily be Melbourne throwing out misinformation to media dupes just the way Fremantle appear to have been doing. And why not. There is A LOT of bulltish flying around at the moment with newshounds desperate to go to print with footy news, however half-baked or frankly made up.

What are you talking about?

Just Google search  how Luke Ball forced his way to Collingwood. That should explain it for you.

Well, someone tell Jessica that unlike Shawshank no one leaves demonland and comes out clean on the other side.

Or could again be Freo trying get us to deal with them. Freo aren't one of our competitors, but if a Victorian side was circling, their warped mentality might think we'd accept a slightly lower bid from Freo in order to get a first rounder and not strengthen one of our major Victorian competitors.

They just seem to get stale so easily! Maybe I don't eat them fast enough haha

Perhaps. It could also smack of Freo being not as into Hogan as everyone thinks they are ... could be the salary, could be concerns about the foot, could be ... well, anything. Perhaps from their side, they're just not that desperate.

Its all gd.

Sydney....

A bit like Buddy it was always Sydney not GWS.

Freo are the new GWS, Hogan is bound for Sydney.

Maybe I wasn't far off the mark....

This has Sydney all over it.

Could be AF. Could be anything.

All we need to do is stick fat to our evaluation of Hogan and sit tight. I’m not buying for a second that they’ve ‘cooled’. We’re talking about a side that finished 14th who’s coach is under pressure.

They will cave.

What other suitors for Hogan could there be?

WC deciding to throw a Dom Sheed into the equation?

GC trying to replace void left from Lynch?

One of the SA teams?

Hawks keen to fill the hole to be left by Roughie?

Was it Fremantle who [censored] around with Brisbane on Mitch Clark trade when we came in to trump them?

can someone post the Herald Sun article that is in Fridays edition. It's pay walled but it says WCE could enter the equation. I highly date WCE have the pocks to satisfy us anyway so its just posturing.

Gc would be perfect.

Carn Gil make it happen

Wc have 22 premiership players which could enter the equation.

Even if WC could satisfy a trade I’m not sure how they would fit him in. They’re already very top heavy and while that worked this year I don’t know how you’d add Hogan into that mix.

Interesting that another team may have entered the mix, if it’s Victorian and Hogan is considering it any goodwill I’d have towards the bloke would be shattered. I understand a desire to get home, surely it’s Perth or stay at Melbourne.

This has “go home factor”, Freo, Mitch Clark and 11 th hour surprise destination all over it

Next he’ll be unboxing new Nikon

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
