Its not just his ability in the contest that sets him apart it it his tank and gut running to get to so many contests.

Watch how he roves on the ground, disposes to advantage and then he still chases them on the wing.

The most complete and dominant ruckman of his time.

I think it is a terrific effort and it is a vast improvement in the quality of his ruckwork. I think the highlight was against Footscray in the 3rd Q when MFC played perfect football for about 15 minutes purely from the linking at the centre bounces where Gawny just seemed to put the ball into Clarrie, Gus Trac and Harmesy. Last Sunday was equal because of the quality oas well.

Well done Max, having a great year.

i love the visual on the games when, after a goal, Max walks back to the center for the bounce and is with Oliver, Brayshaw and Harmes. Such a good strong unit. They are obviously chatting about where to place the ball.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
