Good afternoon dc. I did not think I would have time today to visit the site but took the iPad with me on the chance I could get some time.

As it turns out I had A 15 minute period at 3.00 so ventured onto ticketek in the hope 15 mins would be enough. The result leaves me almost speechless.

Got my ticket in about 4 minutes Unbelievable!

Amazing how well the system works when it is not overloaded.

However the planning genius is who decided to run the ticketing for three games at once should be giving back his six figure salary as he is taking money under false pretences.

So Friday is looking good.

Go Dees!

Sadly I have a busy late afternoon and evening coming up dc. Tomorrow is a chance.

Here is a question asked by a friend who is going.

Can you stand at the back of level one and watch the game as in a Home and away game?

Finally got ticket, but seem to be sitting on top of Mount Everest. Disappointing.

In 64 I had a standing room ticket and would do it again on the 29/9/18 if I needed.

Yahoooo have my tickets!  It’s been a longggg wait.  What a great feeling to know that our season is not packed up at finals time.

Got my tickets (M5 x 2) with a certain amount of hassle, but nothing compared to yesterday. FWIW my experience today felt about the 1995 level of technological infrastructure. Not overly bad, but not even close to 21st century standard ...

Did you get tickets Mauriesy?

Eventually. I switched from my computer to a mobile phone, and it worked better. I'm not sure my satellite NBN wasn't stuffing up the system with the latency.

M36, five rows from the fence, three bays around from the Geelong cheer squad. Looking forward to their quietness when we win. ?

Maybe you can make some noise for them (hehehe)??

To go and stand all you need is a ticket to get in. You can stand where you want at your lesiure.

Level 4 isnt bad at all. Dont know why everyone thinks so. If im by myself during the H&A season, I oftern sit up there close to Punt Rd goals.

In all honesty, it might be take what you can get once GA goes on sale.

Well I don’t have the best view. And what’s the point of going if I’m gling to be watching the screen all night.

why are we getting a late night game anyway? I won’t be back until midnight unless I can convince a brother to let me crash

Notice that some have bought multiple tickets on how many barcodes

If you see tickets already on resale sites, these will be members tickets, point it out to club

I bought 6 tickets on 3 barcodes, Saty. I can assure you, no one of my 6 will be found on Ebay. A select group of family and friends (2 of which are members) will be attending, all wearing Melbourne gear.

You really are a grumpy old man.

Nah, if you are there its all about the live atmosphere.

We have all been waiting a long bloody time for this.

Embrace your inner demon!

I’ll be lucky to be home by 1:30am, prob more likely 2am

Will be worth it, really worth it if we win.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
