These odd missed-handballs/kicks from ANB, Brayshaw, Harmes, and Tyson have killed us.

Tyson given a golden opportunity on a platter and kicks it straight to an Eagles player......did the same last week against the Swans.....

GET HIM OFF!!!!!!!!!!   LIABILITY

Jetta..far out

Rodney King has taken far better kicks than our Forwards.

Replacing Jeff in the “invisible forward” category.

That was the turning point last week.

Utter filth.

Absolutely dominated the second half of that quarter. How Trac doesn't make the distance from 40 out amazes me. Need to start really putting scoreboard pressure on or else they will run over the top of us

Should Haves........

Jones for an easy snap shot 30 out.

Tracc from 40 doesn't make distance

Weids should have at least scored from 35 out....

Tyson given an easy on the run goal from Clarry

2.2 goals (at least) gone by the wayside.....sees the score 62 / 34  ...nearly double their score...but instead they're still right in it

Edited by Rusty Nails

I feel like we should be at least 1 goal further in front to accurately reflect our performance.

I wonder if this heat will hurt us. I doubt it; we're 1 man up and we're a very fit side. It's all about composure now; can we defend our lead playing controlled, smart footy.

A final awaits if we can.

To be fair... West coke misses a few easy set shots early in the quarter.

It's not just Tyson. He did a couple bad kicks or handsballs, but so did Brayshaw, Jones, Harmes, and ANB.

Everyone needs to clean up just that little bit.

Our final execution is killing us.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
