Geelong losing gives us *some* breathing room, but we absolutely have to win. Bring the same attacking urgency as we did last week and we should [censored] it in.

Ladder has bunched up significantly again the last two rounds. Can’t afford to drop a single game against a lower ranked team from here.

Saints by 17 or dees by 57. I can't decide which

gave up first bike race in 6.5 yrs such is my excitement

This is not a test of how good we are but our mental application and desire.

Tge good thing is we have players in form at casey in most positions so that pressure help.

Hogan to kick 8

Looks like practically a zero percent chance of rain today. No opportunity for the Saints to make it a wet slog and drag us down to their pitiful level.

Melbourne by 77.

So my attendance record this year has yielded 0-4 (gee, Rich, Haw, Coll).

Surely the laws of probability say I’ll get to see a win today...

right?

All those crowds were 40k plus. Just go alone today and you’ll be fine.

If we lose it is solely your fault and I'll find you... and send vile over to deal with you... I cant fight ?

Uncle Bitter is currently in Kimberleys. I mean in The Kimberleys so I shall be listening in with fervour . I may also be sober as I am having difficulties obtaining beer. Shiraz is an impossible dream.

However,I shall soldier on manfully and expect my spirits to be uplifted by the Dees dishing out a jolly good thrashing

5 star accommodation in th Kimberley?

Is it too pessimistic to say if we lose this it is all over?

Not pessimistic. Itd be a fair call imho.

I expect to win today. Just hope the club DOESNT....i.e go out to win by playing...not attending

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
