Jaded No More 68,976 Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Omac was fantastic. He was literally the only player who did not panic once. Kudos to him. Lewis needs to retire and Bugg needs to sign a VFL contract. 9 Quote

Started off well but again showed he is limited skill wise. Early in the game had an easy hit up for Hogan and bombed it to no one, just not a one touch player. Seemed to play a lot at half forward, his development is just going around in circles. Quote

dimmy 1,308 Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Bit harsh on Brayshaw's skill level compared to what else was on display today by MFC. He was far from the worst Brayshaw : Showed good signs. Competed Melksham : Missed the train Harmes : Missed the train MFC : Dry Weather "Footballers" HFC : Showed what desire can do. OMac : Doubters silenced now. Hibberd : Confused in his role Lever : Should Mark. Spare Defender : Lacking confidence 1 Quote

TGR 1,367 Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Jordan Lewis - Common Denominator (in past 3 Haw v. Melb games) Not only are the recruiters stupid; but most of us supporters are as well. Will never make one iota of difference with our push from 9-14 to 4-8. None. Never would. Liability in speed....goes to ground. How many bloody players did O'Meara beat home from the Sicily torp. He gave 4 of us 10 metres start. Can't hide Jordan back as the +1 for ever. Clarkson and Adelaide have played with the Melbourne Football Club in past year or 2. Combine that with the stupidity of letting Viney return after 2 weeks following PF surgery.....and the Camp fiasco.... This club lacks brains, heart and guts. Quote

After watching that debacle today the last player I would be questioning is Brayshaw! Not the best for us maybe, made some errors yes but kept battling on and getting a lot right by the way, while many of his more experienced team mates went missing in action. Can’t make mistakes when you aren’t in the contest, how often have we seen this over the last 12 years. We had quite a few older heads not in the action when needed. I suggest you watch the replay WTM. 2 Quote

I suggest you watch the replay WTM. Admittedly, my stream was in and out for the second half. I 100% agree there were many worse. It was more of me disagreeing with Joeboys assessment than actually thinking Brayshaw was one of our worst. There was a lot of competition for that. I just wouldn't call that an 'impressive' performance from Brayshaw. He must have had 7 or 8 touches in the first 10 minutes, then faded out of the game. It was a hard day to find a winner for us and tbh I don't think I could sit through a replay of that junk. Quote
