Scully on the ground crying. Mwahahaha.

Injured, looks bad. He will be out for a while. Couldn't happen to a better bloke.

I don't like Scully but do we really have to take pleasure from what could be a serious injury?

Yes.

I thought I would be the bigger man and not enjoy an injury to Scully but turns out I’m wrong

When it’s him absolutely

Filth are in the game because of very poor defense by giants. 2 of their goals were by shocking mistakes.

Outside of the Crows/Tigers game, the standard of footy this weekend has been rather embarrassing.

I tipped the Suns though so I'm happy with that.

Dunne is another I like to see do well

Think he would have been worth keeping sad he was delisted

And gee I dislike the Giants and not just because I worked for them

Spelling mistake

Maybe the years have dulled my hatred for the man, but I took no pleasure in watching Tom Scully writhe on the ground in agony.  Wouldn't wish his injury on my worst enemy.

$cully injured badly

what a total tragedy that is, he can afford the medical Bills no doubt

Agree, have had a my fair share of injuries playing footy and the slow process of rehabilitation and getting your body right each week just takes its toll.. especially when I'm also working a 12 hours a day doing construction.

Regardless of who it is, I don't wish injuries upon anyone.

I agree. Poor form. Enjoying an injury on a player is...

Hang on - did someone say Scully.

Heh. Burn baby, burn.

A few putting their character on show in this thread, and it isn't pretty.

He lied when there was no need to lie. Him and his excrement of of a father had a deal worked out a year before, and even until the last moment he was talking crap. He looked a dying man in the eyes and lied. There was never a need for that. He put the boot in right when we didn't need it.

So yeah, if he misses a year and never gets that running game back I'm going to smile a little.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
