Nissan's equivalent to Lexus, the up-market range.

Nothing but the best, and perfect for heading up to the snow.

I would imagine it will also be on the jumper somewhere to give them real exposure.

Those shirts are not worn that often - maybe for media and other public events but not a lot of TV coverage at those.  So shirt sleeve would be a bit meh...

The official word!

http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2018-03-19/heres-my-key-dees-land-infiniti

The deal includes INFINITI branding on select team apparel, media walls and inside the team rooms during game broadcasts, hospitality at Melbourne home matches, player ambassadors and game day activation opportunities.

So not on the jumper.

Its really good to have another international brand, along with Zurich:

"We are thrilled to welcome INFINITI, a luxury car brand that operates in more than 50 countries worldwide, to the Melbourne Football Club,” he said. (Peter Jackson)

Well done mfc!!

What happens to iSelect in that case?

I'm not against it commercially but we have had issues under previous administrations of treating sponsors poorly. Hankook comes to mind.

They may be cool with no longer being the back of jumper sponsor and only viewed it as stop gap. Would like to know what the situation is however.

I was thinking on the FOJ somewhere, not on the back.  As it turns out they won't appear on the jumper.

To answer your last question: The deal includes INFINITI branding on select team apparel, media walls and inside the team rooms during game broadcasts, hospitality at Melbourne home matches, player ambassadors and game day activation opportunities.

Well I'm a buyer for the select team apparel - and I must confess the other added benefits sound pretty good too.

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team.
