Sydney. Half of essendon's team shouldn't be playing

I've read this question six times, expecting there to be some sort of trick in there...

Sydney, of course.

Including Hibberd? Just saying.

Technically yes, but as a Melbourne player, I have a slight bias towards both him and Milkshake

Essendrug must die

Goodbye Jab. You know where the Paperwork is, as Captain i am sure you have asked question.

If you haven't you are a weak dog

Essendon. Only because I know there's no chance they get past the Crows if they can beat the Cats next week. Don't want either of them to win but Swans are a genuine flag threat, bombers aren't.

Don't really care who wins...but you have to admire Essendon in some ways. $hithouse team but there is always great expectation on them and they always seem to play with pride.

Essendon fans get great bang for their buck in return for their support of the club. To be in the finals after their recent disasters puts a number of other clubs to shame.

Put a sock in it Ling, dribble, dribble, dribble.

Buddy is on one leg and kicked a hat-trick in 5 minutes.

I'd rather Ess were knocked out now!  Let Cats or Crows take care of Sydney.

There is more than enough smug arrogance about Ess with 'premierships are their destiny'!

Couldn't bear it if they were to win a final after all the AFL benevolence in the last few years.

Thing is I don't think cats can stop Sydney and crows are 50/50 at best

Immaterial now, Swans are pulverising them

This is beautiful. Everyone's second favourite team (finger down throat) getting flogged.

The Swans are scarily good.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
