man, i posted the wolf of wall street video a week ago! Ripped my material! :)

I find it very strange that these days people think they somehow have intellectual property rights over content they didn't create, but shared it to a social platform before others did.

(not a personal attack on you, just an observation)

Anyhoo, good, Dr, looking forward to chatting about the Dees with you in 2018

I assume you would agree that regardless of personality all players are required to maintain the same standards and behaviours?

Can we please rename this thread to The Jack Watts Groundhog Day Thread... there's probably just 5 or 6 pages of original content.

If I haven't looked at this thread for 24 hours, I just go to the last page and find I haven't missed anything!

How tedious is this getting? The camp I'm in now is the "I'm well over discussing this, have said all I have to say a dozen times, and just wish whatever was going to happen would hurry up and happen so we can move past it" camp.

Nash

I suggest you pull the plug on this when it reaches 186 pages

No matter Watt happens

Jack hasn't of yet named a club he wants to go to  so the club cannot enter trade talks until he does.

I for one hope he stays

I suspect it's buried somewhere in the previous 176 pages, but is it correct that because JW has an ongoing contract the club can only trade him with his agreement? Which could mean, should he choose it, he doesn't have to co-operate and will still be a Demon in 2018. Is that right? Of course, the club doesn't necessarily have to play him in 2018, so it wouldn't be all one-way traffic, but it would give him some significant negotiating room if he really wants to remain.

Watts is holding out to go to Geelong...

He would have already nominated Port other wise.

Motlop compensation (likely 21) will be traded to the Suns in Ablett deal and Dees too receive one of Suns later 2nd round picks. Approx 25 or 26.

So Suns give up Ablett and pick 25 and get pick 21???

However, it has been very therapeutic for Demonlanders particularly those who need to grieve.  Demonland plays an important role in the mental health  of its poster tragics.  Never forget it's therapeutic benefits!

Nice try, Bobby. We know what you really meant.

Thought reader too Wiseblood? It was only a little fun mate in an attempt to lighten up this topic. No sense of humour today?  BTW you weren't the only one to succumb. Beetle did too in his post just before yours. Have a good day and cheer up.

This is vying for the award of most unhinged comment and that's saying something.

Watts by the way averages 8 kicks per game.

Lever only has 2 more and the same amount of possessions.. You forget handballs and what Jack does with those possessions. Creativity in setting up goals. Ask Jeffy and Hogan about that.

Enjoyed Crows Highlights reel to celebrate Lever's 50th.  Elite contested mark and spoiler. In the American parlance plays long ie contact ball at maximum straight arm reach when marking/spoiling. Positions himself beautifully to spoil from side/front with conceding a free for illegal contact. Also a desperate competitor. Our defenders will love playing with him.

Is it a reality check for Jack that there is shallow demand for his services at what should be the peak of his career?

Problem at the moment seems that Watts hasn't nominated a club. He nominates the club, they discuss options. Don't think it has helped that the free agency decision by Motlop seems to be linked (at least in terms of the picks that could be on the table!)

The camp I'm now in is - "I cant believe how divided this football club is and how little trust we have in the people employed to run our club."
