A Sydney victory tonight over the Doggies would be very good for the MFC (as long as we dont screw up QB).

Swans looking like they're switched on so far tonight. Just having issues with converting all those inside 50 entries

What a draining, boring game so far.

Glad the rain has stayed away so that disposal quality hasn't gone down

Hope Goody is watching.

Looks like rule of the week is holding the ball/incorrect disposal.

Then again Monday is a new week and things could change.

Matthew Richardson goes under the radar.  Lovely guy, but I doubt I've ever heard an insightful comment on radio or tv.

Also, there are so many ordinary teams.  The two tonight are ordinary.  The top 4 are ordinary.  The competition is very close and there is not one fantastic team.

So many reasons not to pick up Tippett, Reid and Rohan...

Reportedly 865,001 reasons to not pick up Tippett if you count the fact that he can't play...

If you've got one of the new all singing, all dancing TVs they come with a controller that has the best anti-angst tool around. I believe some call it a mute button. Learn it, use it, love it!

He's the special commentator for when a player has the yips for him to talk about the little man in their head that starts talking

23 scoring shots to 9 is a fair representation of where this game is at. Swans should be 10 goals in front not 5.

Swans dominated all game and should be 10 goals up. They've just worked harder and outnumbered the Dogs around the contest.

Stringer is so overrated.  He can do some flashy things, but he is a chronic underperformer.

If he played for the Dees some of my fellow Demonlanders would be very critical of me for the amount of times I was bagging him.

If Dees fans think O Mc is ineffectual would hate to see what some Doggies fans say about young English.

The kid is still bouncing around in the bottom of the boat.

We might go in favorites vs the Dogs in a couple of weeks, and will have one of Hogan or Gawn back you'd think.

And its at Etihad, our favourite ground.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
