So much fun. Hopefully I didn't ramble too much!

You were great. We'd love you to join us again. The more you do the more comfortable you'll be. It's always hard the first few times and then you sort of get into a rhythm with the cohosts. It's difficult because we're not all in the same room there are no visual clues as to when someone is done speaking or who should answer a question. I thought you handled that really well.

Whist I admire  Nasher's work input to this site

I often wonder the validity of his input from such a short perspective of experience.

Many of us have MFC experience way beyond his short life .

Give me another penalty point and take me out for a month if you wish for expressing an opinion

But I wouldn't listen to your podcast.

You've supported Melbourne since 1965 probably, and where has it gotten us?

I have supported Melbourne since back in the (pre-1965) Glory Days and I must say I enjoyed tuning in to Nasher and the Administrators last night. Some good irreverent banter from callers and some cautious optimism from all. Not quite sure exactly what Puntkick has ever contributed to Demonland since joining as a 'life member' however I suspect my autocorrect was on the money when it changed his name to Dropkick! ?

I actually missed it due to going to watch South Melbourne play in the FFA Cup but I'm gonna try and get onto a podcast app today to hear it. I'm looking forward to hearing Nasher.

As I haven't heard it yet I can't really assess fairly what Puntkick means by validity of input. Is it a case of not experiencing those earlier times or can you not believe he has that much MFC knowledge? I'll have to check it out, I'm sure it was a good episode and Nasher had some good things to say.

That's a bizarre thing to say, how many years do you have to support Melbourne before your opinions become relevant? You sound like one of those old codgers who yells out to just kick the ball long all the time

I bet Nasher has one of those long haircuts that all the kids are sporting these days.

When we were young I had to get up early and milk the cow before school .

Actually that"s not entirely true.

I didn't"t have to milk the cow but I wanted to.

Also,it wasn't my cow and it wasn't really a cow.

@Grapeviney was spot on in the podcast when talking about how annoyed he was we didn't run over the Lions by 10 goals. That percentage would have been really handy.

It's doubly infuriating now that Essendon won by such a narrow margin - a half-decent finish against the Lions and we would have finished above them regardless of the Eagles game.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
