Let me guess....You'd be the type of guy everyone wants to hang around at parties.

Around 40 posts on this thread already with nothing but misery.

Block him, bettle.  I did ages ago, he isn't worth wasting time on.

Spencer for full forward.

Bradshaw goal there, great finish from Spencer but Brayshaw's work incredible.

It's just our skills at the moment. They are absolutely horrible. Crazy considering how clean they were against Carlton

They have to learn to execute

And cut out the soft efforts and errors if we want to make finals.

Full stop

I live rent free in your mind.

Good god Harmes is a [censored]! Get him off and get Trenners on Goodwin ffs.

SPENCER!!!! Nice goal.

Overall: Not sure we're playing the 'hard' footy we've been playing in the last 2 weeks - looks like a few are protecting themselves a little which is understandable. We're a much better team when we go 'full bore'.

Really missing Jetta and Garlett

Our skills need work asap

Brayshaw snagging to get us a goal.  But that watts dropped mark was a12 point turn around.

Gee whiz, what was Dom Tyson thinking...kick it down the line if you don't have any options in the middle. Not sure he is a certainty for round 1. Very average thus far.

Lol

Can we please man up in defence. Especially because we're so proficient in turnovers.

Not the game plan.

Watts is so lazy.

I really fear that St Kilda will just get out the back like West Coast are doing and like they did twice last year against us.

That bit of play there - Petracca to Hunt to Jones to Brayshaw is the stuff that looks great.  Might not have turned into a goal but it's the stuff we want to see more of.

Quality and pressure of opponent probably

It would be nice to kick two goals in a row....is that asking too much?

Jason Dunstall just said...

If Melbourne want 2 be top 4 they have to be able to hit a target....he's very alert our Jase

Our skills are just 10% below where they need to be but gee the effort is good.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
