I watched that kid Papley play a few times last year as 23rd man for Casey and he was always smart and dynamic as a small forward who could be relied upon to kick a few goals. Where were our recruiters?

So wonderful to see the top-up teams crash and burn, while desperately clinging to their premiership window and avoiding the inevitable. What a joyous Friday night on the couch this has been!

Geelong have too many ordinary footballers. Guys like caddy, Duncan,  Guthrie,  cowen. They are in for a world of hurt when they lose mackie, Enright,  Taylor and bartel.

The funniest thing is that Dangerfield actually moved to this team thinking a midfield of two would take him to premiership glory.

Just delightful to see this team fail after their arrogant pontifications all year long. And best of all, apart from their list being thoroughly ordinary, their age profile is North Melbourne-esque. They are heading for the cliff-face and I reckon Dangerfield's made an almighty mistake (like O'Meara with the Hawks).
