Makes Levi Casbolt look like a dead eye dick. Close to the worst kick I've ever seen. No

Was just delisted by Port. 197cm Forward/Ruck with a great pair of hands, could be added to our stocks for nothing. Could also keep Hogan company during their goal-kicking classes over the summer. Worth a punt?

Are you serious.

Was once dubbed 'the future'.

Would rather pick up Kane Mitchell for midfield depth and Buddha Hocking for assistant coaching duties than draft Butcher...and that's saying something.

Mitchell must be dark that he goes yet Toumpas remains.

They've delisted both Schultz and the Butcher, guess they will be after a forward or two now. Butcher was going to go number one in the draft early on.

If thats your argument then you clearly have no idea.

From memory very publicly stated that he did not want to be drafted by us in his draft year because of our "tanking".  We took Voldemort and Trengove and passed on him.  Everyone was happy!!

Is this how the next month is going to go?  Every player delisted gets a thread?  I'm just waiting now for the Jed Adcock thread where someone says that we need to talk him out of retirement.

Ridiculous.

I don't think it's as a ridiculous suggestion as others do. However it's a no from me as he isn't a 2nd ruck.

Nathan Vardy or Zac Clarke would be better options.

He is a worse kick than the worst of Jessie Hogan and Greg Parke combined!!

NO !!

He is mobile & a great mark.

The only way I could see this working is if he was rookied & played at Casey as a follower/ruck only.  Not as a forward,

If he showed promise, then maybe worth keeping on to ruck.

But I doubt it now after a non existent AFL profile.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
