If that is the case he was dropped.

Well he was listed as omitted, so that would make sense.

In the games with Pedersen, on average those opposition teams conceded 90.1 points per game across the season.  In the games without Pedersen those opposition teams conceded 86.8 points per game across the season.

Yes, in the games without Pedersen the opposition was better (which backs up my "expected" to win analysis), however it's less than one goal difference on average.

Reeeeeeeaching.....

Stuie, I have to say I almost admire the way you cling onto a notion so desperately, no matter how many other opinions and how much evidence is weighed against you.

So I'll take it from that, that you also think Pedersen is the main reason we won games this year.

Good to know.

And your ability to reach for conclusions like that also amazes me.

No, I don't think he is the main reason we won games this year. I do however believe we're a better side with him in it.

in 2017 we have a 100% win record with Pedersen in the team.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it.

He lost the ruck dual but was great today.

He looked confident and played his role well.

I love his body work when he's out of the contest. He makes the opposition work for a mark and use his upper strength to hit them. Once you use the arms or bring them down its a free or 50. Every time he was late to the contest he made his presence felt. Unbelievable game today.

10 contested possessions and 8 marks is a fairly solid fact.

Another win to add to his winningness at Melbourne.

It was a shocking decision to leave him out of the side against the Blues.  Why on Earth would they have made three changes to a winning side?  Idiotic thing to do.

Been mystifying not to play him all year. Dont get the Weid love by selection squad. Hes not strong enough yet.

Gave exactly what was expected from him today. I love the effort he gives and the way he uses his body to make sure the opposition players feel every hit. Should play out the season if he remains in this kind of form.

Will Stuie make a return to campaign against Pedo?

Stuie be hating life today. I'd tag him, but I don't want to risk him coming back.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
