I honestly can't. Jetta was good, the McDonald boys held their own, but barely another winner on the ground.

I pretty much stopped giving a crap and spent the second half brainwashing my little cousin so that Hunt is now his favourite player. Even more than Cyril.

In between all that I gathered that Jetta is our most consistent performer every week and if we had more of him we'd be a better team. 6 points then daylight to Tmac.

After reflection.

Well played, Nev!

6.  Jetta (thought he played his best game for a while)

5. T Mac (saved a shallacking)

4. Hogan (mainly for providing a presence around the ground on a day when we didn't move it well into the forward line)

3. O Mac

2. Track

1.  Gawn - (not his fault that our on ballers didn't finish off his good work and he still did some good things around the ground)

Hunt might be a bit stiff, but although he kicked a good goal, I thought he went missing a bit at critical times in the game compared to his usual role.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
