Gold Coast have 6 picks up to pick 27!

And Prestia/O'Meara want out as well, which will surely yield further picks.

They have delisted 4. Are they going to go the youth path completely, or will they need to trade in some experience as well, or both?

Everyone is talking about who is available to bring in, but with this scenario the opportunity is who can be traded out to secure some of this excess of picks.

I trust Todd, Jason and Josh to exploit these opportunities, like they did last year.

Not sure if we're specially placed this year to do any business with Gold Coast and all of the other clubs are going to be awake to the possibilities presented by this situation.

I guess we'll see soon enough.

So unfair that GWS have 5 picks up to pick 33... while finishing 5th with a team chock full of talent.

Hate the way we're approaching our window just as the most artificially inflated team in the history of sport mature...

It's gonna suck.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft.
