Port's percentage is now better than North's. They're just as much a finals chance as the Saints if they beat us tonight (which hopefully doesn't happen!)

North getting belted. If we can get up tonight we move one step closer. I thought finals this year was 0% chance to happen a few weeks back, but who knows now! KEEP FIGHTING DEES!

It's got be driving the boys now. As slim as it is.

Dammit. North have come back and got back to under 4 goals at half time. They were 8 goals down at quarter time. Hawks got a few injuries too.

Rockliff on the way to 50+ disposals.

North have thumped the Hawks since quarter time. 9 goals to 2 in the last 1.5 quarters. Hawks lead down to two goals. Looks like Norths percentage won't drop off far, if at all if they continue on to win. Very disappointing to watch them come back here!

Sh*t. Didn't realize Saints were a game clear of us and have Richmond and Brisbane. Makes it hard for us to get there... The losses to Essendon and St Kilda come back to bite us. If we'd won any of those 3 winnable games we'd probably be playing finals this year.

Their percentage is so bad it's not a factor and Sydney should beat them tonight.

Their percentage is so bad however.

A lot of the peanuts in the media have overlooked that 3 teams outside the 8 can still make it. Even Derwayne said the best we can finish this year is 9th about twenty times in last week's game. Clueless moron.

I'm sure that he was basing that on the fact he was convinced we'd lose.

Yes it's a foreign concept to him but the Dees aren't the rabble of 2013 nowadays.

You'd think one of their 'stats' people would have corrected him.  And given the media's keenness to make things sound exciting, you'd think they'd carry on about the 3 possible alternatives to North.  Very odd.

The lack of building up the three games today by the media has been a huge oversight.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
