What is/was the score? I tipped GWS, but not by a huge margin.

Looks like the Hawks went clubbing last night, turned up hungover and forgot to change their clothes.

Hodgey might be in trouble as well. Dished out the usual head high coat hanger when he was getting beaten and some run ins with Stevie J.

Nup.  Were lucky to win last three games by less than a goal and had umpire help.  Just getting old (er) and cant keep up with young fast teams.

13 goal victory to gws!  I reckon 90 rotations must really hurt hawks and their game.

We play them twice.  IF we turn up we are a chance.

I hate the look of that Power Rangers outfit.

Watching Gold Coast for the first time this year.

They look to be a 1 man forward line.

Geez what a job GWS did on the hawks. But as a hawks fan you cannot complain. Just watch the last 3 premierships instead.

Id love to see port beat Richmond. Just add more pressure on them.

Freo still winless. It's just strange to see them on the bottom.

That man is pretty good though.

But you're right - stop Lynch and you go some way to stopping GC.

Looking at tonight's game, I just don't think Geelong get enough free kicks at Kardinia Park.

Had we won today, we'd currently be above Hawthorn on the ladder.

Kind of hard to believe, really.

Hoping this is a sign that Hawthorn, without luck/free kicks, is one or two notches below the best this year.

How shite are the tigers? Hardwick must come under some scrutiny. Even if it's horseshit dumped by supporters outside his office

Good thing we have Tom McDonald to zone off him next week.

Very funny.

Yep, can't wait to see the next evolution of our defensive zones in action. T-Mac could end up matched on Malceski!

Speaking of Gold Coast, Geelong are unsurprisingly, proverbially [censored] on them from a great height. Who the hell starts favourites next week? I'll be devastated if it's us, because it's a certain loss. :P

We'll beat Gold Coast. I'm generally pessimistic but, for all the AFL assistance, they are rubbish. And it looks like they've picked up injuries.

Wait till they get Roughy and anyone else who is injured back for the finals run and have a full list for the GF as usual.  If they finish top 4 they will give it a big shake on their home ground MFC yet again! Those 3 close wins will give them a great shot at top 4.

Gold Coast are rubbish. There is no chance they'll make the 8, even we have more chance than they do.

Unfortunately that makes us the wildcard, because really there's a clear 8 teams who are above us and we need something drastic to happen for us to join that group.

That's the ticket! Declare victory for the next round only hours a sour defeat!

Gotta love Dees supporters!

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
