Good to see that there are some boys there. Gawn is a regular at games (good team man).

Stretch seems to have just exploded since quarter time . Interesting to see that ANB isn't in the big disposal getters at 3 quarter time. We all just assumed he was going to have another big match and get the call up. With Hunt the likely out due to "management" (otherwise known as a quite game), Stretch is a like for like. Haven't heard Matt Jones name in the commentary as yet.

Oliver seems like he comes back in as well.

16 mins in and efc have scored 5 behinds this qtr.  It's an arm wrestle in their fwd half but our defence has stood strong.

Mark and 50m penalty to Scorps resulting in a goal to us from the goal square.

O Mac has looked alright to me

Michie is a smooth mover. Both he and ANB have demonstrated their quick hands around packs this qtr.

Michie and Strech had 10 possession last quarters. Oliver had 9 and you have to assume that Trenners had at least 8.

The one that stands out there is Stretch as the conditions aren't conducive to his style of play, so good work getting his hands on it.

Final Stats Disposals - Michie 35, Stretch 34, Oliver 29, Trengove 27, White 24, Neal-Bullen 24, Grimes 23

3Qtr Time Stats Disposals - Michie 25, Stretch 24, Oliver 20
HT Stats Disposals - Michie 17, Stretch 16, White 14, Oliver 14
QT Stats Disposals - Michie 11, White 10, Munro, Trengove, Oliver 8.

Assuming Oliver is trying to read the words. It's ok buddy, you wont need them again...

Hope the players have a good shower when they leave.

Would hate to see a positive swab come up just from sitting on the chair or touching the lockers in there.

Ran out of batteries with 10 minutes to go and just got home. Stretch, Michie and Oliver were the stand outs. Saw Garland against Collingwood and he looked disinterested, was on his game today and has given himself a look in. ANB was serviceable but would not say he banged the door down. Trengove is getting to the right spots but is not up to speed yet with his execution. Being he spent most of the game playing inside could not get a feel for how much better his movement was.

They interviewed Plapp after the match on Casey Radio. He said that he was surprised that Trengove was tagged all day. He said that tagging doesn't happen very often in the VFL. I would think that this makes Trengove's stats look a bit better.

Thanks BRFE & KC greatly appreciated a good win at Windy Hill, take that any day. Looks like we have 4-6 players that could come into the team if coaches want to reward some effort and rest a couple of the kids or non performers.

O Mac also very good. Stretch a stand out with quick hands inside and good decision making. Best game I've seen him play. Garland very solid. Michie better than Trengove and Grimes IMO.

Great to see Viv dominating, sometimes I think I am his only fan

The great thing about his game is that he is playing half back flank yet is stacking up the possessions, must have had 10 inside 50s and 5 score assists as well as one of his own.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
