I'm no legal expert but I think there is the potential for a possible liquidation of the Essendon FC based purely on the legal cases afloat at the moment.

As for what will be in the future, it is very grim, with a myriad of potential bank breakers from players alone. Essendon F.C. is finished.

In turn from supporters point of view, nothing short of a total cleanout even as it is now should suffice with quite possibly a new name.

Like, The Dons Football Club or The Royal Agricultural Society F.C.

I thought the AFL told the banned players they should steer clear of schools? I think that was about 2 weeks before they started training at some school in Essendon.

If it's current players I reckon go for it.

If it's banned players I reckon have a good conversation about ethics with the class. Or maybe call the AFL or another club and see if they can send some CLEAN footballers.

Yeah itd be current, clean players who are currently representing the club that ran the grossest team doping in the history of sport.

Approach another AFL club and say "I've got this opportunity but I would prefer it if YOUR players came instead ..."

Speaking of banks, the bank of the AFL will keep them afloat.

I don't understand why the AFL, in their zeal to rehabilitate EFC so it can mix in polite society, has not insisted (ie forced) that everyone who was there at the time, in any off field capacity, is replaced.

Purge first, then clean and rebuild. On the other hand, I am enjoying the many faceted never ending story.

The silence from all the clubs including our own has also been disappointing to say the least.  Rant over.

Simple, cancel that session and invite some Demon players instead! 

EFC clean players are still no-names whereas we have:  Watts, Brayshaw, Viney, Hogan, Salem - all young guys going places.

IMO the cheating part has paled into insignificance when you look at what the future consequences may be.

The AFL's 'naughty boy' treatment of EFC would be laughable if it wasn't so seriously weak.

Made all the worse to me  by how "seriously" the AFL and media came at us over tanking. Which was by then a common practice. 

My question is whether Heppell can sue Essendon if he knows what he took, is comfortable with that and he willingly took it?

I still can't get over Heppel's statement on 360 last night that those who call them drug cheats are "uneducated on the situation". Does that mean he is "educated" and the rest of us aren't? If so, that would indicate he is fully conversant with the WADA code...and the fact that professional athletes are totally responsible for what goes into their bodies. You can't keep blaming everyone else Dyson, particularly when you infer that you are so "educated"....

What the statement proves is that a lot of footballers are not rocket scientists or anything remotely close.
