Tom Hawkins took a long time to hit his straps as did Jab Watson. So much so you had to ask " Is this guy really Tim Watson's son? "

Interesting jab Watson came good one summer, somewhat miraculously. A bit like Ben Cousins did. Beefcaked up and became invincible....

And yet you can still manage to comment time and time again.

Including my first comment I've contributed just 2 other posts to this thread hero. I think your definition of 'time and time again' is.... wrong.

Sorry if I have offended you.

But I did see three yesterday.

How wonderful for you. You go right ahead and talk about the same things over and over and over again until he isn't at the club anymore. I mean, people have been doing it for years, so why stop now?

Knock yourself out.

Why does there even need to be 15 pages of discussion about a player we have discussed for 1000 pages since he was drafted?

I'm surprised there is anything left to discuss.

So you will only bother talking about Watts when it's something negative? Not happy to praise him when he plays positively?

Classy.

It just looks like time and time again.

Yeah, 4 comments out of 370 is going right over the top.

And now we know how these threads just keep going, good looking, intelligent Melbourne supporters arguing semantics & talking shyte with each other.

So you need the last word, that's going to be frustrating particularly as you are the one that doesn't like to post on this thread.

I think more are calling for him to be traded, but the issue is that he kicked 4 for Casey, not the seniors. I really hope he comes on as he has some very dangerous attributes for a guy so tall, but at the moment it seems very much touch and go with him. But he is a big bloke, so he may just take a little more time.

I see Fitzy as a bit a a late bloomer, his early years were arrested development Via the old Dees culture, magnified by a lackadaisical attitude & his diabetes illness.

I think he was starting to show some tempting ability just prior to the Roos team came to melbourne, & is starting to develop. to me its a bit like he is in his 2nd or 3rd season with us.

I'd be very happy to give him a 1 year extension, as I still think he can make it, he has the ability, but needs to continue his development & belief.

Under this new footy dept' environment, I think he is progressing.

So there is a method to the madness.

Thanks for sharing d-l but if you could try to stick to the same rules and conventions found in English wherever it is spoken and written that would greatly benefit the rest of us

We all like to get artistic at times, but some of us like to read legible text .

You can blame Jack watts if you like.

that post was legible to me, thats why i do it that way, I can't read the words well, when they're all squashed up together, & it losses its emphasis, a bit like a Chinese mish-mash meal of chemicals. sort of like a soup of chemicals with salt added.

That's why I support the MSG.

...... footy life is like Chocolate cake, Wise; we all want to have it, & eat it as well.... maybe jack can become a great runner for us, if only he would eat the Chocolate cake, my friend. ^_^

I suppose that Chris Dawes stops being the whipping boy for this week.

Dawes has been pretty good over the last 2-3 weeks. I'd seriously consider giving H the "whipping boy" status. Although I'm not ready to accept the fact he's been a bust, he's had a very underwhelming season.

Ha Ha, very good

I hope he kicks butt next season, as his career is years into itself now. We need Gordon Ramsay to come & be his fairy godmother for a season.

He's already been through that with Neeld. Though Ramsay is probably more of a thinker than Neeld.

As good as any place I guess ( without starting a new one )

Jack had a C+ game today  but at times when his footy forte was required , he delivered  unlike some over favoured forward ) Jack would have to be among the handful of very good kicks at our club . This also goes to a problem which needs correcting as good clubs have good kickers all across the board. It is FOOTY after all.

He was in yip-land  ( with all his other mates ) for the first half but worked himself back into the game and I thought took the game on.

I am one of his biggest critics at times but he was far from our worst today  imho.  Sometimes when I watch games  and especially when a result seems forecast I start amusing myself by watching elements or certain players.  I thought the interaction between him and Hogan was quite good.  Maybe their roles might have been reversed for a while  to re-boot the attack  but alas  non the less  I think hes coming on.  He is a confidence player and the team was shite for a while today...he as well.

I really like him as a 3rd tall up front  and thank god someone can KICK  !!

First half he was nowhere. His dropped mark was terrible, and has become a bit of a pattern. But then he worked his way into it. It was a weird game by Jack.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
