North smashing Carlton now. They fall apart like the hot garbage they are.

I still reckon we could beat North though. There's a stench about that match in the same vein the Bulldogs, Richmond and today's match had.

So many of North's players look like champions when they are 30 plus points up.

When the game is in the balance, they weren't around. Earlier on in the game Cunninngton couldn't buy a kick, now he looks like a ball magnet.

North are weak, they are a very weak side. I'd hate to coach them. They will never go anywhere.

Suns drew with the Eagles!

Finals wide open now.

Some disgusting umpiring in the 4th quarter there to help get West Coast over the line. Too bad the maggots ended up creating a draw.

That non-call for a blatant holding the ball was as close to corrupt umpiring as I've seen all year.

That was almost the upset of the year - GC without most of their midfield up against West Coast playing to put distance between themselves and Hawthorn, and West Coast very nearly blew it.

Next week's West Coast v Hawthorn game should be a ripper.

Draw. Hilarious.
How do WCE get away with having an away jumper thats not only blue but the same colour as their home jumper?? Seriously.

They have a white one too - they don't wear their away jumper because the AFL tells them to, they wear it because it's their heritage and their fans like it. When the AFL tells them they clash they wear a white jumper instead.

That is the new era under this socialist mob in charge.

The umpires HAVE to umpire for what the fans want, not how the game IS. It is no longer umpired on it's merits.

Welcome to modern day football. Most old school footballers I know refuse to even watch football these days.

Actually I thought that the contrast of the Eagles and Suns jumpers was fantastic. Very clear who was who. There is certainly never any reason for either to wear a clash strip when playing each other.

And yes, the maggots certainly got WCE up to the line.

Socialist? You have got to be kidding. A sport governed by the $ is socialist? They don't come close to a decent equalization policy if that is what you are referring to.

And since people seem more grumpy about the umpiring these days than they were years ago, I don't see how they are doing what the fans want.

Just because it is governed by cash, it cannot be socialist? Ohh ok.. So the players rising up and having a large say in the game - to it's detriment - is what? The AFL wanting to take all the profits, and not let individual clubs the freedom they deserve, all the in the name of equalisation, and what freedom they do have - the AFL want all that money into the pot to rashin out to the poor clubs. There are clubs that are not financially viable, yet the AFL props them up. The AFL have to generate cash through TV rights to cater for their unrealistic socialist measures. This mob couldn't run a bath.

I'm hard-pressed to know which of the things you list is socialist, but I'm now assuming you think socialism is just the collective noun for things you don't like.

Carry on.

It wont happen again.

With the bombers it was like we patched a hole in their ship's hull with paper , then sent them into Bass Strait.

Crameri is rubbing salt into Hird's wound...he has kicked 6 and still the 4th qtr to go.

I wonder if Hird will say he was luckly like his ungracious comments about Ryder.

Hird: the sore loser!

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’
