GAME DAY - Round 15

What a pathetic effort....

At work, just checked a score

How much do these players get paid???

coming back from darwin has a lot to do with this i think

Keep your head in the sand. At least you won't see the crap we continually serve up.

We continue to be the joke of the AFL. Yet we are the one's solely responsible for our pathetic situation at present. Any respect we thought we might have gained last year has been washed away.

Paul Roos was only ever going to be a band-aid, we need to get disinfectant on this rotting flesh now. Get Goodwin in now and make Roos sit in the back of the box, so it at least looks like he's earning his keep.

If anyone from the club comes out and gives us condescending "we were flat" [censored], I'm going to divorce myself from this football club.

We will NEVER turn the corner.

I've been hanging [censored] on my Essendon mate for a whole week.

Aren't I a dumb [censored].

Only Melbourne could do this!!

We truely support a wonderful team!!

Is there any other team in the AFL that can play hacks back into form better than Melbourne?

They just want to win more than us. We also just saved Hird's coaching career.

Paul Roos is getting out-coached by a drug cheat and our players are showing once again they dont give a [censored] about us supporters

A shameful, shameful performance

A disgracefull effort!

Quite obvious we haven't improved one bit!

BBO has just sprayed beer all over the poor kids in front of him. Such is the plight of a Melbourne supporter. Such is the ville of BBO.

I have no words for this. None. We are getting murdered by a dysfunctional team.....

i aint even mad

pathetic, these guys need to take a look in the mirror they are getting beaten by a team of crap players, which shows how pathetic some of our players are.. No point winning the ruck if our mids can do anything with it. I am at a loss at how the ball can go into our forward line so often and the oppositions players read it so much better than our players.

I'd be wanting an annulment, so there is no record of it.

How much do these players get paid???

More than us SWYL.

If I performed like this at my work I wouldn't have a job.

Also keep in mind I get paid SFA.

5 goal turnaround needed.

Dreaming.

We are now playing the worst footy in the comp.

I don't feel confident in beating anybody anymore.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
