big   deal   hes  catching up  with  his   family  in WA   get  a  grip

Dangerfield once visited his family in Geelong when he played for Adelaide. Look how that turned out..

We've got a game in 4 days, probably not the ideal preparation to take 2x4 hrs flights mid week.

It's nothing mate.  Given a few days off to visit his family.

it's definitely not 'nothing'. There are hundreds of players at clubs outside their home state. How many of them just take off during the middle of a regularly fixtured round for a visit? The answer is one.

There are plenty.

Righto Curry.  Go ahead and get your knickers in a twist.

I'm impressed that you know the comings and goings of each player from every club in the competition.  Must take up plenty of your time.

They send all the young players home every now and then.

Hopefully all the stupid media coverage of Hogan will convince him to sign on for 25 years at the Dees so he doesn't have to go through this rubbish every few years.

Don't ruin my entertainment with your lodgic

On Footyology (Channel 31 show with Rohan Connolly and Mark Fine) they mentioned that during the week David Schwarz gave a speech at Melbourne and apparently Hogan wasn't all that receptive after Schwarz's criticism of Hogan's kicking earlier in the year.

You can tell he clearly misses Perth. You only have to look at his Instagram posts. Add to that family issues...and his [censored] attitude; I'm very confident that he'll be gone by the end of the year. Happy to be proven wrong.

Roos explained quite succinctly about the younger players going home on AFL 360......that is the reason that quite often a player is missing from the VFL  for no apparent reason.  A senior player is not going to get a weekend off but they try to get them home as well ....Hogan is still a very young man......& if you had heard Hogan's interview .....he made it very clear that he was definitely not there to see Freo

What are his Instagram photos

I read there are a few visiting family this week. Not sure how true.

Wrong. C and B said Hogan is the only player ever to visit family.

Why do you look at his Instagram posts?

Not sure what's wrong with his attitude either.  I hope you'll still be happy to be proven wrong at the end of the year.

Hogan being allowed to visit home occasionally is often cited as one of the reasons he and his family are very happy with the MFC.

But not in the same week as we've had an interstate game. Family reasons are logical, but not necessarily a good sign.

Didn't we give Scully some time off for family reasons? And didn't Scott Thompson want to go home for family reasons?

I'm worried.

I think it was mentioned 2 other Dees young players were at home this week, outside of the city of Melb as well.

I'm sick of all this media exposure already, and he's signed until next September. You wonder if it'll start affecting his performance if he remains under so much scrutiny, to the point where the media are starting to question if an interstate family visit could be a visit to Fremantle FC.

Maybe if they keep bringing it up he'll just re-sign to get the camel off his back? :)

Didn't we give Scully same time off for family reasons?

I didn't know that. But it would take ages to fly around the circumference of Phil.

Covid prevented many Demons fans from legally witnessing the victorious 2021 AFL Grand Final cup performance between the Demons and the Bulldogs, but we all grin when remembering those magnificent seven third quarter goals.
