Saints are just a basketcase. GWS will blow this open in the second half.

Would've thought everyone learned not to push out experience at the expense of youth after what happened to us.

And still heavily dependent on Riewoldt

Reminds me of the Demons and Neitz in 2007

I've watched every game and they've all been below our standards.

Losers.

Riewoldt's only got a year or two left in him, too. If what we heard around draft time is accurate, their strategy behind taking McCartin was giving him a one year apprenticeship under Riewoldt before he hung up the boots.

Think the Saints should've spent more time focusing on midfield depth, because their skills are deplorable.

Which begs the question - why isn't McCartin playing? If that was the reasoning then he should be out there with him. They aren't going to win many games and it would be more beneficial than giving someone like Josh Bruce a run instead.

And I agree - their skills are shocking.

Mark Stevens just confirmed that Daisy Thomas would need surgery. 12 - 16 weeks.

Mark Stevens has no idea. He doesn't need surgery and will be out for approx. 6 weeks.

GWS look decent in patches, gonna be a big test for us next week. I'm excited.

Just realized its at a neutral venue too, in Canberra.

Bring it on.

Reckon both teams look shocking. Saints bloody aimless, poor structures, long aimless bomb kicks that get intercepted, handballs to team mates under pressure, missing easy shots on goal, etc.

Giants barely capitalising on their inept competition speaks volumes about them. Also getting some very favourable umpiring (an AFL directive I wonder?). Horrible disposal at times though and plenty of playing for frees.

If we shake up their confidence early and rattle them with physicality, we're definitely a strong chance.

This umpiring is just sickening. Feel horrible for Saints fans today, never seen such blatant pro-GWS favouritism.

Umps handing the game to GWS

next week will be infuriating with all the charity GWS will get, but we will smash them.

hope Jack Viney tags Shiel next week and belts the [censored] out of him

Adelaide making North look like...well...us back in 2012-13.

This North Melbourne performance is delicious.

By the way, for the first time in years I've entered a tipping comp. I don't like it. It stops me from enjoying games where the team I've tipped isn't winning.

Hah, North. Been saying for years they're pretenders and nothing has changed my mind.

How I desperately hope we can beat them this year.

Why are the media not tearing strips off Scully?

$1 million a year for a player who is VFL standard.

Are GWS and Scully beyond criticism?

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits. Thankfully, the offseason has recharged me, and I’m back—ready t
