Good to see Cale Morton has snuck back into the club under the guise of "Bernie Vince".

Bernie doesn't live with Mitch Clark does he?

As always, thanks for the photos 666! Neat to see O-Mac give you a thumbs up.

Billy Stretch's body shape and posture gives me the impression that he will be one seriously powerful player in years to come.

Have our good players been rewarded with Nike runners? It's the off season there isn't much else to ask.

I reckon he was a steal. His coach also said he's a really hard trainer, and you can see that although he's struggling a bit with the long runs right now, he's already added definition to his shoulders and arms in a short period of time. He showed great development this year in the SAFL, and his run and agility will break games open in a few years time. If he develops properly under the new coaching staff, he'll be an Isaac Smith/Brad Hill for us. Really excited by Billy!

Yeah I noticed that, Stretch is in good shape, can see the definition. Actually has more definition than some of our senior players.

Some other avid draft expert who I can't remember nominated him as the most professionally minded of this years draftees. That is very encouraging to me as he will drive the coaches crazy, driving his own steep development curve.

Both Stretch and Neal-Bullen have played senior footy in Adelaide and look far more likely to be ready for round one. Petracca and Brayshaw are just puppies straight out of the TAC Cup. If I was a betting man I'd wager that neither will be in our round 1 team and both will play the majority of the season at Casey.

Hey 666, I'd like to use one of those images for a new avatar but it's saying you've restricted the rights on it. Is that just for commercial stuff or should I not use it?

Yeah, easiest way since I don't know java and I don't need a high res original for an avatar :)

Gonna play with some headshots now...

Edit: Hmm, not enough neck. Gonna try again.

Edit 2: There we go.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
