Star Swan going nowhere

Sydney Swans midfielder Dan Hannebery has been linked to Richmond, but is unlikely to leave the beaten Grand Finalists.

The Herald Sun reports Hannebery is all but certain to turn his back on the Tigers' interest.

Well, aren't we supposedly throwing our weight around with high draft picks and lots of cap space? If this bloke was somehow into the Tigers, then why not us?

Would be nice to pinch something nice from those cheats

I wish !!!!! :)

Was some talk of trying to get him last October.

Not sure Hannebury's off field choices are what we desire. He's a turd.

Hannibal will have your head for that.

yes only nice boys allowed at our club

Love these comments - Roos has a no DH policy for a reason. When you try to build a culture bringing in a nice boy like Dayle Gartlett is not the way to go about it.

I have no idea what Hannebury has or hasn't done. But I wouldn't have Gartlett at my club

Yep, the Strauss / Watts / Trengove choir boy prototype has worked a treat in recent times. It's lucky we didn't lower ourselves to the gutter drafting a Dustin Martin or someone of that ilk.

Rumour has it they were caged eggs.

He chucked eggs at something.

EGGS!

I think his off field choices is more a reference to his ideal method of enjoying parties on a night out

I hear he has a Buddy.....

To make him feel at home he can bring his "Buddy" with him. I'd be happy with that.

Mark Stevens just said on AFL Game Day that Hannebury may be coming back to Victoria at year's end.

Hopefully Roosy can lure him to the Dees.

We keep winning , he will come.

Would be an absolutely massive get, to state the obvious.

Yep, i saw that; but i haven't given up on Dangerfield just yet.

They will be asking for a first rounder and a player.

It would be a huge get but we would be giving up alot for him.

Are you going to make contribution to his "Buddy's" seven remaining years of $1m per annum contract irrespective of whether he plays or not?
