Management has gone to great expense.

Also employed the director from the cricket world cup in south africa.

.. Why didn't they use JKH?

Metatarsal injury, out of preseason until march 3.

I dont mind it

But nothing will make up for winning games or in this case not winning them.

Play well in the practise matches and then Win the first two games of 2015 that will get things moving.

Its like walking yourself to the electric chair... So apt and honest.

No doubt OD, but what is the purpose of any promo? At the end of the day, we are pretty much rusted on here. Maybe it's my Mondayitis or the wounds of the last 8 or so years still being so raw, but it feels desolate and solitary to me. We need to feel part of a groundswell of support and to me this just doesn't do it. I can't remember who it was that posted a great and inspiring MFC montage, set to the tune I and Love and You. I still watch it from time to time just to lift my spirits. Just shows what can be done to inspire . I understand you could not use that video in its entirety and copyright might be an impediment, but I reckon we could have done better.

It's apt. From 0:50 is me about an hour after the latest MFC game - the expression on the guys face at 1:04 is spot on.

Edit: a smile or some excitement from the actor would have been nice...

I liked it and agree it's hard to put players in it when we don't know who Have be on the list come round 1.

I'm sure there will be more promo videos come out once the list is final.

Living In the bush and already being a MCC member I admit I was a bit tight the last two years but just paid the MCC last week and ticked the extra $$ box to sign up as a Dees member as well.

Could have been a bit more upbeat with some players in there but they went with the tactic of making it about the supporter rather than the club - probably a smart move so close to the end of a poor finishing season.

In the end at least it isn't down right embarrassing (you're beautiful).

I've been doing some more thinking on this and I think I have the answer to our membership woes: Hipsters.

Think about it. Market MFC memberships to all those hipsters so they can support us ironically. Then if we actually become good, they can show off to all their friends and say they were MFC members "before it was cool."

Just think about the hipster-centric slogans!

"I have an MFC membership, you probably don't even know what that is."

"I was an MFC member before the posers signed up."

"My favourite player is Neville Jetta. You probably never heard of him."

"Nathan Jones should be AA, but we're the only ones smart enough to notice."

I thought it was great. Showing some footage of players doing exciting things would just be lying. We are still a terrible side that only ceased being terrible 3 weeks ago. A video making us look like a gun side would just stimulate my cynical side. That video inspired a sense of 'closing ranks' with the club and other supporters. I'm sure it won't be the only membership video to be released over the next 6 months.

How Melbourne are you in 2015 ?

What are they actually asking ...... Are you just as fed up, just as disillusioned , just as depressed, just as unimpressed with our rise up the ladder ??

If you're all of that then you're probably pretty well a definite Melbourne supporter....so you're going to be pretty Melbourne in 2015 Id reckon.

As some sort of prompting or encouragement to be a member, I'm not sure it either 1) communicates this particularly well and/or 2) inspires one to be such.

The focus in the ad, the guy, already has a Demons cap, backpack and a sense of the club. Id say he was the 'already converted" type.

The ad doesn't do much for me...maybe just me.

It's not just you.

"How Melbourne are you on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being disgruntled and 10 being ready to jump off a bridge)?"
