Changes are

Blease and JKH in

Jones and Terlich out

Nice

After Tapscott's completely useless performance last week, how badly would someone have to play before they get dropped straight away? That guy has more lives than a litter of cats.

I'm not sure what Bail and Kent are contributing at present either.

Great to see Blease and JKH back in - we will look a lot better with some leg speed in the side.

probably the end of terlich?

And the second time that Roos has done it.

If my memory serves me correct he got rid of Terlch from the swans too.

Tappy was a first gamer in regards to playing a role in a new system for the first time . That and the fact that everything fell apart last week is Probably why Roosy gives him another go at it .

He is probably right twice

I wouldn't have thought so. His defending and kicking are issues but he's hard as a cats head, takes intercept marks and tackles well. I think he's had a few injury set backs as well this season. Being subbed off after some hard hits at times.

I would've thought we some of the battlers we have on our list still that he's worth another year to see if he can learn the Roos game plan. I actually think he'd be a very good player for Port in their instinctive, hard running attacking style. He just hasn't fit so well in learning the Roos method of methodical ball use and strict defending.

Don't get me wrong Bail's being very ordinary the last few weeks, and Kent can't seem to find the ball the last couple of weeks. But they are in the side for many reasons.

Because there is no one better

I'm with you Georgiou! Terlich has a lot to offer - he'll be back!

Might have to ask Nicholson.

PORT POWER may just think they are in for an easy weekend.

But,just as they relax,PR pulls a swifty an overcomes them with shutdown football and to much height .

DEES by 16 points.

I'd be surprised if we made 4 changes, but we've been lethargic and tired for 2 rounds now. Makes sense to mix things up and freshen the team.

Will be interesting to see how we perform after the bye when Crossy is about ready to play again and we've had time to recover from Darwin.

When do we have the bye?

probably the end of terlich?

One can only hope.

Because there is no one better

Yep, that's certainly one of many. Not sure what the other many are though.

As many posters know I know nothing about footy!

But can I say how Jordy Mc continues to get a game with what he provides is to me

Totally Mystifying!!!!

While one dimensional players like Mckenzie & Bail get games we will be tripe.

Both had more ball and laid a combined 11 tackles to 0 from Jones. If you don't get what gets players a game this season by now you never will.

I like the changes. Both ins give us run, and x factor we have lacked. The type of players who will take opportunities.

If they bring their defensive games and we as an 18 man unit play our defensive roles, manning up and defensive spread, we have the opportunity to be much closer than the past two weeks where not only did we struggle defensively, but we had no players taking opportunities.

last 2 weeks, us vs opponent:

goals: 9-29

I-50s: 62-118

disposals: 609-767

clearances: 72-84

I just want to see a decent increase on that rubbish this week please

blimey. Those stats are a real buzz kill

Surely Tappy will be the sub. Would love to see what the speed of Blease and JKH bring to the table.

Chook, I agree I'd like to see that, but I reckon Tappy and Blease will get full game time (and Blease another week or two) to give the coaches enough info to go on for decision making at year end. Not much point naming someone as a sub if you want to decide on their future as a player.

Hate the sub thing. Doubt that it's made any difference to injury rate. It stands as a monument to Vlads intransigence.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
