For the love of god, get him off the banner. I can deal with this more than Clark, but still - we developed him into an AA key position player and now he goes and jumps ship presumably to Hawthorn. Good riddance.

Disappointed but its been drawn out longer than a pregnancy. I am glad its all over.

All the best Chip. I'm not disappointed he's gone but he still gave us good service, regardless of how blinded we became to that once we accepted he would leave.

Although I must say I'm looking forward to Hogan tearing him a new one next year at the G. I'll look forward to that one!

I liked the bloke and am sad he is gone, but not surprised. If we had of had a half decent team the past couple of years he would've been an absolute champion of the game.

Players are temporary, the club is forever (unless it keeps playing crap and folds...)

Frawley was a gun and I am sad to see him go. A genuine defender who could break a line, play on the huge forwards, and monster opposition forward lines. My son's favourite player. Thanks Chip for every effort you put in for the Dees, and for giving one of my sons a favourite player to look up to in a era of losses, no excitement and few thrills.

However, I am neither surprised nor disappointed. Neeld killed his natural flair, and Frawley leaving sits right on Neeld's lap. He has not played any of those great backman games for almost 2 years, and needs fresh air.

Pick 3 here we come.

Now Roos gets to go to work...............We need a new team...

Thanks Chip...but i am disappointed that you didn't work harder under the NEW REGIME....and that also goes for Clark.

I hope he signs on for big bucks wherever he goes. We need pick #3 or this offseason could be problematic.

Livid that we are losing a player coming into peak and a vital part of a serious push to a premiership.

ffs.

For some strange reason we anticipated this might happen.

It's Andy's birthday today and he's out celebrating (hopefully the fact we get # 3 compo on top of the occasion) but I'm sure that the minute he gets the opportunity, Chip will get the chop from our banner.

Jack, when he gets a chance can he just replace him with a number 3 until further notice?

Did he ever look at our offer?

Kinda rude.

Thanks for the service, I don't wish you any luck.

No surprise there! Now it all comes down to our compo. With every man and his dog trying to talk down what we should get it's now up to the AFL to grow some cojones and give us what we deserve out of this train wreck!

But that was all part of the club preparing for life without Frawley. Did we need him in the backline this year, not really.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
