How good is it to have the love for footy & winning back. I was out walking the dog this morning listening to SEN and to hear people talking melbourne up and praising them bought a smile to my face and put a spring in my step. For this first time since the mid 2000's we are a club with some passion and direction and I couldn't be happier. The last few years I've gone to the MCG and almost dreaded going knowing what the result would be, now I can't wait for each week to roll past so I can get to the G to watch the boys and when they run out through the banner with the theme song belting out I know what I'm going to get from the 22 players. I'm excited for the second half of this year and beyond, bring it on! Go Dees.

Probably my favourite thing is the anticipation of the coming game. I can't wait. The previous years left me feeling sick at the idea of watching, then spending game day wondering why I was yet again torturing myself by watching for the nth week in a row.

I reckon there's a good chance we'll drop the ball a couple more times this year as we did against GWS, and looking at the draw there's a good possibility of a belting or two if we happen to drop it on the wrong day. I've seen enough this year though to know that even if that does happen, it *is* just temporary, we *are* getting better, and that we finally have the right leadership to get us where we want to be. Just having the light at the end of the tunnel has rejuvenated my will to support this team.

A belting here and there you can cope with over the length of a season if the rest has effort and desire.

I was not confident of beating the Tiges, but I knew they would have a red hot crack and they did.

isnt it great to read mondays paper and chat to mates about OUR game, instead of talking about other issues.

give us a couple of more wins and our mates will want to change the subject{like we used to}especially the essendon and carlton ones.

yep, monday has hit a all time high for awhile.

i know i know wet blanket time BUT

in 2010 there was a similar mood in the air

just sayin

Was that when we belted the Swans with a flashy outside game?

This team is being built on defence, by a master builder.

[censored] 2010.

Totally agree, however the other wet blanket is the importance of the appointment at the end of Roos' contract. There is the hope he will stay on, but as it stands he won't be, so we need to nail the appointment of his successor to keep the train rolling.

But at least we can say the train is now on the tracks.

It's a great feeling.

I read all the forums and watch all the footy shows after a win.

After a loss I just mope around on here.

Almost forgot what winning felt like, could not imagine how the players felt.

We've earnt these wins too, strangled half decent teams and battled for the win. Not skipped past an expansion side.

Give me more.

The players were really pumped after beating the Tigers going off facial expressions...It seems to me they are all thinking...HOLY SHAZBA we can actually play....And play well!! We are going ok here!

And I swear someone lit a fuse down at Demonland before this game....Thanks Roosy!!!!

Just listened to Roosy on SEN this morning.

My gut feel is he will want to see this through.

He would love to raise another cup at the 'G.

Our Cup.

We also didn't have the messiah in 2010.

Things are looking up, and it's going to stay that way until we are at the top.

Agreed. As long as we keep things at the back end in tip top shape, I reckon Roosy will stay.

My friends dont pity me now. My wife and relo's ( all filth ) arent quite so cocky about QB.

Folk are able to say the words Demons and Footy without breaking into laughter

The poles must be correcting themselves as that freezing in Hell ( a sure sign the Dees are on the warpath ) seem nigh :)

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
