I want Neale Daniher back. Maybe as coach maybe as a part of MFC in general. He gave 100% & the Rev should always be welcomed back in any role and he could coach!

I want MFC to go & sign all four Selwoods in free agency. Imagine the Media Frenzy.Cmon Demons..have a crack at them.

And go get Jacks mate Wines at the end of his contract or before. He's guna be worth it. I think it will happen anyhow IMO.

Then theres a heap of mids and tough ones at that to be alongside Viney,Trenners & the rest..

Our backlines ok,our forwards will be right with mitch & Dawesy and Howe..fix the guts up and away we go.

And yes...Get Schwartza back.Garry wont come but Schwater Will!

Then we have some personality back...wa la.

I want Sheedy or Mathews to coach us next year, failing that Mark Williams, convince them with the challenge of returning the oldest club to it's former glory and a nice pay cheque

A coach like this would get some supporters that may have stopped watching football fired up again, god knows we need all the support we can get plus they would command the respect of the players and be a great help in terms of luring players from other clubs

i want them to recruit some of the good young dees fans around the comp and get rid of some of the lazy sods, ( gaff, prestia and wines would be a nice start)

watch jack grimes and jack viney, two dees fans full of passion and fight, exactly what we need

Culture changing midfield coach, namely brett kirk or cameron ling

1 genuine superstar midfielder, pay him whatever we can but if we sign it would be fantastic

2 class 22 year old mids

1 crumbing forward

1 elite half back flanker

Same coach (because he managed to turn things around this season)

I want Healy & Russell's idea of players being able to go to the club of their choice implemented.

The first 6 players to walk through our doors are Franklin, Judd, Pendlebury, Gaff, Prestia & Wines

Neeld guides this club to 8 Grand Finals in a row and we win all of them.

I like this game!

But on a ever so slightly more realistic line....

If Mark Neeld is sacked at the end of the year Brett Lovett comes back as senior coach, Shane Woewodin replaces Craig as senior assistant, Brad Green as forward coach, James McDonald midfield coach & Cameron Bruce backline coach. Todd Viney replaces Connolly as Casey ambassador, Nathan Bassett takes Viney's old role of player development Schwarz joins the board, Geoff Freeman becomes president and Eugene Arocca CEO.

We develop our own stars, have a good year next year, are playing finals by 2015 and snare a premiership by 2017!

Coach - Mark Williams

Fwdline - Leigh Brown

Midfield - Shane Wowodein or Junior

Defense - Jade Rawlings

"Senior Assistant" - Neil Craig or Todd Viney or Shane Wowodein

Some form of coaching/mentoring capacity - Paul Roos

FD Manager - David Schwatz

CEO - Ron Gaucci (sp?) - Storm

President - someone new... Freeman or someone with a Business background and media profile.

I would also like to see the club try to get back some of the 2000 GF team in advisory capacities, there are quite a few who have gone on to be sucessful in business from what i know.

Also, can we get Junior back to the club ASAP.

Players:

Daisy would be nice but he isnt what we need IMO.

I would like to go after some experienced guys at the end of their careers, (i know this is fanciful) eg: Sam Mitchell in a year, Lenny Hayes, Simon Black, etc, as i believe that these guys around our younger blokes will be able to impart some wisdom and help our development. I dont want to see us go after more David Rodans.

Also, when Gaff, Steven, Parker, Hannerbury, Wines, Rockliff, etc all come out of contract we should throw the checkbook at them (they are all roughly the right age and style i think we need)

I can't tell if your serious or not........Mathews or Sheedy??????.....And just because you supported a team in your junior years does not mean you want to play for them once you have become a player in another team......

Nah, i am pretty against the idea of changing coaches again to be honest, Neeld may just not have the cattle to implement his on field plans yet.

i'm sure if he was doing something drastically wrong, craig or viney or rawlings would be able to point it out fairly quickly given they have all been senior coaches at a time.

As for the other comment, well maybe not, but it certainly wouldn't hurt would it? a pay rise and a job at your ideal organisation that you have idolised growing up might be a decent offer to some of these young men.

No more skinny development project draft picks (eg Toumpas over Wines), Watts in the forward line, Nathan Jones as captain, no stupid stunts like changing Grimes' number. A truthful, genuine new coach who doesn't speak BS and who asks us to attack the middle and kick quickly to forwards. Ending our partnership with Casey and attracting support in the CBD. An outspoken, passionate no-nonsense president. Get people like Schwarz and Neitz involved in the club. No putting new recruits in the leadership group either, let their form speak first and let them create a new reputation

As much as I stand up for ND on here, I think that train has well and truly sailed. As a FD manager, it's a long shot. Demonland might implode on itself if he were to be appointed coach.

I would like to see some of the things others have pointed out here but I'm less specific. I want to see less skinny kids and more actual footballers. We need a bit of urgency in our recruiting of younger players. Stuff the upside argument. We need to look more at whether they will be good players today without necessarily being the savior.

As much as I would like to see Neeldy turn this around, I don't think he can. I feel he has started to mature as a coach but I think the well is too poisoned now. If he isn't the man to do this, the next time around MUST be handled by an experienced coach. No ifs, buts or maybes. That must be the first criteria to be fulfilled. I felt the Neeld appointment was a political one to validate Cameron Schwab. Bailey was ultra attacking so in order for CS's opinion to become public perception, a so called dour, defensive coach needed to be hired to reinforce the image that we were too attacking and loose. I don't care as much about the incoming coach's game plan as much as I would about his demonstrated ability to rebuild a club.

CEO wise, we need an outsider. I'm hoping the AFL will help us in selecting this person as I think we have been weak in this area. We need someone with experience as a football administrator first, business/marketing whiz second. Some might say CS filled this bill and to an extent he did. It was his extra curricular activities that screwed us.

Finally, we need a president that is half Joseph Gutnick/half Jim Stynes. He needs to be Gutnick in aggressively standing up for the club's interests. When the AFL or other outside sources were potting the club or the players, Joe fought back. He needs to be Jim in the sense that he will be able to unite all the factions of the club and to heal wounds that exist in the club. Both those individuals had their weaknesses and they weren't perfect but I would like them to bring those strengths to the club.

That's an ideal situation. The reality will be most likely very different!

A genuine A-Grade midfielder and a Heath Shaw type player would really help. Outside of that, a former gun mid to coach the current lot and a crumbing forward.

If Todd Viney was 20yrs younger , to play alongside his son there would be heart and grit

Vineys are and have been great servants 4 MFC

Someone (or some people) in authority with the insight, leadership qualities and clout to turn around the awful culture that seems to have permeated our footy club. That, and only that, will be the cornerstone of any success we might enjoy in the future.

Is superman available?
