Report from Clint Stanaway on twitter:-

In the wake of their latest scandal, the Demons have hit the track at Gosch's Paddock... including a clean shaven Jack Watts.

Glory be ... salvation is on its way. We cannot lose now that the facial hair has gone the way of the club doctor and the CEO before him.

It would be nice and would make a powerful statement to supporters if they all shaved for today and looked like a professional outfit

Call it a bonding moment. It may make a difference

The Coach will survive if he deserves to.

I don't care what Stephen Dank does.

If Neeld can get the side to play with passion he will survive. Take a look at James Hird Mark.

Let the players play. Put the theories and processes to one side.

That does make some sense wyl

I woke up this morning and thoughy Neeld will survive if he can get the players to play - which could be a positive in the long run... I mean look at the blues, they are no where near the rabble we are and they are struggling with a their new game plans etc - it happens

At the end of the day [censored]'s going to sort itself out one way or another - be upset we suck - but lets not lose all faith

That would be RLT, Goodes, Malcevski, Mumford, McVie, McGlynn, Armstrong & Grundy... What's your angle on that Dermott? Or do you have to consult your Storm mates who told you about MFC's poor recovery habits at your favourite nightspot?????

If Melbourne were trying a little harder on field, the 'beards' would not be an issue.

Do you remember a few years ago when Richmond were coming off the ground after copping a flogging. Their supporters were hanging over the race spitting on them. Look at them now.

There is hope. Just got to get back to playing aggressive footy like the first half last week, but for four qtrs. Get back respect from us, themselves and the football community.

I have to say, I'm sick of being the butt of the AFL jokes - From now on every match I'm going to see I am gonna turn ferral and show that Melb supporters can give as good as they get. Anyone try's to mock Melb in front of me, I'm gonna turn ferral and stick it back up em.

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full
