The board should have to pay out his 6 months severance pay as well, stupid decision, why should the club suffer financially for there bad decisions.

We won't win with a third world midfield and no ruckman. And BTW Garry Lyon no longer has the right to. All himself a demon

Ha! put this down on another thread an hour ago..

"Besides RR, i dont think its anyones agenda to out Schwab.

As i mentioned in another thread, he's basically signing his own termination letter with his absense - esp, over the last couple weeks.

But here and now, as you say, I believe we need a Big Gun to lead us out of the wilderness.
Schwab is a derringer, at best.

I would be hitting up someone proven to pull everything back together - like an Adrian Anderson for eg..

He's done some good things Schwab, of course made some mistakes too.

But we just need better at the moment."

McLardy goes next. Backed this joker in for a full three years.

"The board has complete faith in his ability to deliver the key elements of our future club plans...an announcement on his tenure can be expected in the next couple of weeks.''

Schwabby, make sure you shut the door on your way out.

That's how we treated James McDonald. No, he walks out head held high.

Yeah, he showed Junior the door with Bailey cowering in the corner. Shame, shame, shame.

McLardy said the club is strong off the field, but they will be judged on the field.

When asked about being a scapegoat..

Cam: "Am i scapegoat? I know ultimately my role was to build the club, but we need to win games of footy. We've lost by over 200 points the last two games, that is bad situation. I was up for the fight,"

Schwab: "My preference was to stay in the role. I still felt energetic, but it is within the rights of the president and the board to make the call they have."

Scapegoat.

McLardy asked for the AFL's help yesterday.

CEO sacked today.

Hmmm,this is Vlad's call.

DM just said we have a "divided supporter base" - Lots of reasons surrounding CS and the last 4 years - DM blathering, CS cuts in to say that him leaving will clear the air... DM is WAAAAYYYYYYY out of his depth in this conference - CS is defending the board and his sacking 'cos DM is incapable of handling the presser --- how terrible... CS trying to protect DM... just shocking leadership.

asked about CS reappointment for 3 years - more mumble and drivel

sounds like DM and the board want to clear the 186 air etc etc etc but he can't say that in public... it's a real can of wriggling worms

what about yesterday's letter - there will be no sudden changes !!!

again DM on about "divided supporter base the CS polarises"...

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
