Explain ADC please

I have long wondered about america de cali's posts. So unrelentingly bitter, often toxic views of the club he/she claims to support.

More recently a couple of posts have hinted at some falling out with the club or figures within the administration.

Can anyone - including you, too, adc - advise what lies behind this so that I and others can judge adc's contributions with some balance?

I have asked him on a number of occasions if he is a former board member, club official or employee and he refuses to answer so you can only assume that he is and this is where the vitriol comes from. I asked the same question of Hazeyshadesofgrinter and after at first refusing to answer he admitted he was a former board member. They work in tandem and I will do whatever I can to find out who they are and let all know the names of the two who are trying to undermine the club.

Information is being fed to the press by someone that is, or was, at the club.

Who knows. Some people get their 'knickers in a knot' over the stupidest little things. Some people who have a right to feel aggrieved will walk away and get on with it. Some people are just attention seekers. This last one can be especially true on internet forums and is usually the retreat of the immature or unstable.

In any case the rantings of one anonymous forum poster don't amount to much if they can't articulate what it is they're unhappy about?

While I have no doubt that Hazy was either a former Board member, or is related to one, I doubt ADC is. On the surface that person doesn't have the gravitas or intellect that I'd usually associate with someone in a Board position. I think they're merely a disgruntled supporter that is probably enjoying the association that some supporters are making and perhaps now even flaming the embers.

Some will say that ADC's intellect perfectly reflects some of those that were previously in charge of the club. It's a debate in which I think I'd find myself on weak footing and not be inclined to engage.

The Rodriguez, not Gonzalez, brothers you referred to are the currently incarcerated heads of the Cali drug cartel. Go figure!

Well some people's personalities are hard to explain, what ADC is trying to achieve by his posts?

At the time of the tanking I had mixed feelings about it. If it was good for the club I was prepared I accept it. But they had to get it 100% right or else there was a huge price to pay. Failure of this magnitude should only lead to swift removal of those responsible. They also hopelessly blundered the development of our next generation of junior players and caused open revolt amongst senior players. And other sins not yet revealed. They have no clue to how to build a successful club. CS had left in disgrace his previous CEO appoints and burned too many good people along the way. His tenure at 3 clubs shows a net return of only 2 finals appearances in 16 or so seasons. Given their track record I am a 100% convinced nothing will change next season if they remain and it could be a fatal disaster if this is allowed to happen.

He is just a troll - nothing more. His name is a Colombian football team and his favourite players are leaders of a drug cartel.

He might go for the dees but he motivated more by annoying everyone. Welcome to an internet troll

really Hazy actually admitted he was a board member.

Interesting. Always thought so.

No he hasnt. Having been curious about Hazy myself, I have watched his posts and he has never made any claim to being a current or ex board member despite the often insipid efforts of other posters to imply otherwise

Can you dig out the post where Hazy says that?

Its another case of you not understand the facts, making them up and/or misrepresenting the posts of others.

speak to RobbieF not me, he made the claim. It may well have been in a PM so unless you can read those how would you know.

RobbieF said in his above post that Hazy admitted to him he was an ex board member.

What am i misunderstanding??

No wonder this club failed under the previous board.

They were busy trolling on D'LAND instead of doing their Board Duties.

Unless that was one of the conditions that was placed on them as far as communication with the members.

Would be good to see their conditions of agreement.

( no it wouldn't I couldn't give a toss)

I'd also like to know, from RobbieF, where he admitted this.

WYL, your post didn't make the claim but probably needed a question mark - it did look like you claimed it above.

Fair enough. I only saw your post which as 45HG said probably should have had a question mark.

I would be very surprised if Hazy would run a PM chat with Robbie F.

And if he has not admitted to and has refuted in the past to being a board member, I would not think Robbie F would be one to confide in if he were.

Unless Robbie can produce the post I think he is making up based on his own repeated assertions.

You should use some greater caveat emptor in what you believe.

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm
