Jordie is spot on. If Fitzpatrick and others are a year off finding really good form in the A.F.L we need players to fill the gaps until they do come on. Lynch probably won't be around when/if we ever do make top 4 but he can help in the meantime.

totally. He'd show ours, some hardness & some eagle professionalism. He's been there, & done that. A good fit.

Lynch. People you must be joking. The only time he gets the ball is when someone hits him on the chest. Is there anyone in our team capable of doing that ?

unlike all our other tall forward options atm who are tearing it up and monstering defences?

Will be a good signing if true.

Fills a need for at least 2, possibly 3 years. Mature and physically tough player who can help set good standards at the club.

Would love to see Shannon Byrnes swooping on the crumbs of Q Lynch next season!

I hate lynch and his glove throwing antics but would secretly be glad if he finished his career with us. He can play, is as durable as you can get, and comes from a club with a winning culture

Yep hate Meth Coast but admire and respect their professionalism, will bring a lot of experience. Don't underestimate having him and Clark in the same forward line, would like to see young Membrey picked up as well

Not that it would make it true, but has anyone verified that the comment was made on Perth radio today?

If it was, we have Richo saying the Pies and Hardie saying us. Clearly one or both are wrong.

Potentially, Dawes might be on the way out.

Or Lynch plays the Leigh Brown role, which i think was a big loss this season. And dawes might recapture some of his 2011 form?

Actually Im going to correct my statement. Two trade rumour facebook pages claim that the AFL twitter feed says that he has signed with Collingwood. But when you check it it actually doesnt say that. And it was reported on radio earlier today that Lynch had signed with the Demons! :) Facebook is going nuts about Lynch and Goddard at the moment.

On dribble M on Saturday arvo Damian Barrett said that Lynch will be at the Pies and Dawes will be 'shopped around' even though he doesn't want to leave.

Dawes seems a confidence type. At a new club with less pressure he might show a bit more of his earlier form??

Most of rumours are shizen for mine.

It is all too hard to judge for us average punters.

As has been pointed out, Clark was announced on the Freo web page, before we stole his services so until things can be signed, which isnt until tomorrow, then we will know.

people saying he has signed, are wrong imo. Dont WC need to see the offer, which cant be lodge until tomorrow, then accept/reject it? then he can sign?

The facebook pages when i had a go at them said that it was confirmed because he was seen leaving Westpac Centre today (q was). Turns out that rumour was started by another facebook rumours page with - you guessed it - absolutely no evidence other than a bigfooty claim...

If Lynch has a choice of the peas, carltank or the Dees why would he come to the Dees?

The others you would think will play finals and us based on the last 6 years most likely wont.

Would be happy to be wrong though just cant see it.

I think he's an unrestricted FA, so they can't match it, think that's how it works anyway

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
