Another unsubstantiated channel 7 rumour story?

I am not convinced that he is going anywhere.

What did they say? Is he not fronting for Casey this weekend?

Well he's been named so if he doesn't that would be poor, assuming he's fit?

If true NOT HAPPY has been treated with disdain, clearance king, hard ball gets, if we haven't done enough to retain and unless serious issues emerge this one will come back and well and trully bite us hard on the rump! As a member, I'll be asking some pretty big questions! Form is temporary class is permanent. Remember, REMEMBER this is our current best and fairest winner and one of the precious few who goes in and gets the agate.

Aghast at this stage!!

There was no reference to Casey - just that Moloney was being chased by apparently 6 other clubs.

Moloney won a BnF under BAILEY, not Neeld. As we all know, Dean Bailey's view of what makes a good footballer is more than slightly flawed.

Who has treated him with disdain? I hope you're not referring to the MFC, the club who showed faith in him by bringing him to the club, the club that's paid him extremely well for however many years he's been there, the club that elevated him to the vice captaincy (only to for him to make a mockery of it with his booze fuelled buffoonery), the club that selected him in 19 games this season for absolutely bugger all return.

Let Brent Moloney start taking responsibility for Brent Moloney.

Also 10th in the Brownlow. Hopefully he gets a great offer and we get a decent pick.

De ja vu

Very much like Brock Mclean Brent has seen that maybe he is not a good fit for MFC and has chosen to look elsewhere, I say good luck to him and yeah that frees up another spot on the list if he goes.

Entirely opinion: He's been shisen for 18 months. Yes, I know he won the B&F in 2011. But I'm of the opinion that he won it based off his first half of the season, where he and Jamar were on fire. Rush went down injured and Beamer lost it.

Since Neeld came in he's struggled, and has failed to utilise his existing weapons, let alone create new ones like others have. He's been dropped and realised that it could just be too hard.

Apparently the story is on News.com/Herald Sun - if true and he goes, we have lost - another casualty of poor coaching.

What other casualties have there been? I watched him play at Casey and he looked like he couldn't give a stuff. The pies midfield looked pretty good last year under Neeld.

My information is that he is definitely leaving. I don't know anything about where he is going. I personally don't like losing experienced players but our leaders haven't been good since we forced junior out. I think we are on the right track even with the atrocious year we have had.

I've been told some other things about others leaving/traded that was a bit of a shock. Maybe not to some though.

why are people surprised that he is leaving? got told to trim down over the summer to suit the game plan and didn't. so first he didn't want to listern to the coach and then now he faces the consequence and without a club. serves him right with his [censored] ass attitude for not listerning and losing his [censored] over being dumped from the leadership group. we do not need players like that at our footy club, move him on! nothing but a spoilt brat! theres a reason why he got demoted from the leadership group, and if simon black or a jonathon brown say the way he carried on there would have given him a smack on the chop!

Joel Selwood wouldn't fit Neeld's game plan-tough hard bodied clearance player.

Beamer would suit Sydney perfectly-clearing from stoppages to the Swans runners and he'd kick goals from inside the centre square at the SCG.

Pretty sure that because he is a free agent we will get nothing!

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
