Im not watching or going for the rest of the year for my own sanity. Im a member buts it just too frustrating and painful. I will say that I like Garland up forward more than Rivers. I thought id just drop by and see what's happening and it sounds like the usual.

the word ..UGLY comes to mind !!!

Because they don't have the nous nor foresight or judgement to do things themselves during a game. I dare say the instructions are to provide a target when need be. Not looking around and realising what the team needs (ie that no one is in the goal square) is about instincts and smarts....which we lack.

Tony Shaws suggestion

"Try putting Tom Mc on Brent Harvey."

No thanks you dumbo.

Sylvia is having a shocker. He just stood there abd watched Moloney look for a target.

Think he ll be in trouble after today. Neeld gave him a chance, end lf a day a tiger dosnt change its stripes.

stupid is as stupid does !!

The mids should just start going the torp into the forward line and hope it goes through for a goal.

I could never understand why Bailey played this way and now Neeld has adopted it.

If we have no one in the forward 50 we are not going to score goals. If we do not score goals we will continue to get smashed.

Turnovers/clearances are the only difference between us and success .

But the numbers are huge.

And yet for some reason we all saddle up again the following week.

Gold Coast at the MCG. Might have a chance.

Does it now occur to some exactly what is going on regarding the offerings out of the coaches box ? Never could it be plainer ( to this observer ) that Neeld is giving players both the ample opportunity to showcase their wares and make a case for 2013 onwards.......and/or provide enough rope for others to hang themselves.

Some are just simply too stupid to realise they are in the crosshairs.

A couple more cards will be stamped after today

These umpires aren't helping our cause.

No....WE dont help our cause....the lazy and late to the ball will always be punished

Reason theres no forwards there is because theyr defener opponents go to the mid field. If they dont go with the defender then the ball wouldnt get past a few loose north players halfway down the field anyway.\(._. )\

belzebub59 I came to that conclusion some time back. It's the only reason some player could even be getting a game. I hope he has a lot of ink for the stamp pad.

I smell a 100-point belting. I hope North don't pile on another 6-7 goals in the last...

Dunn should soak up the AFL atmosphere for the next quarter and hold on to the memory .

I know Jordey is a good tackler, but he does nothing with the footy.

Spencer and Martin also liabilities.....too many passengers in this side .

The up side ??

I dont think theres enough time for a 186 repeat !!

We won't be giving up any players to get Cloke, so I'd say our midfield certainly won't be harmed.

Agree Chook, but all Im saying is that if 2 players get 20% of the cap then can we afford to pay a decent midfield if we end up with one down the track.....

Lynden is DUNN !!

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
