Scully in sizzling form again today with 6 kicks and 10 handballs, the spud played on from a mark and managed to get a goal touched of his boot 2 metres from the goal line, which I enjoyed immensely. Can't you just feel those media maggots warming up their typing fingers to start getting stuck into this guy as everyone wonders why in the name of God he is getting 50 grand a game, which is over 10 grand a kick at the moment. Meanwhile his side is enjoying a fantastic debut year, with 14 losses to go alongside their win over the other hacks, culminating in an average losing margin of 80 points including losses of 162, 129, 119, 94 and 92. Today they played at home and the Crows piled on 18 goals after time. Hope Tommy is loving it.

The bulldogs got stiffed Ward is a gun, Scully legacy will forever be the highest paid biggest underachieving worst AFL player ever, the name T Scully will for ever be that of the player who took the money and run and this will last forever in Football circles, was it really worth it Tom?

Wow Scully collecting 39 possies against the bulldogs was lifetime ago.

Might have to hunt around and get a look at the footage of that. I could do with a good laugh.

lol i actually thought he wasn't playing today until i saw this! i watched the 3rd qtr and didn't even hear his name or see him lol lol. and jack watts cops it for being number 1..

I think he would be having fun. He gets his 2 million this year, and that's probably all he cares about.

It will take a few years to be sure about Tom, but as long as we don't absolutely stuff up these compo picks, this has been a big big win for us.

Really cant understand the hubris

We've amassed 2 wins this year hell of a lot to make scully jealous for sure.

It's not hubris. It's good old fashioned schadenfreude. It will be hubris if we clean up with the compo picks though.

I think the issue is we were lucky that GWS took this disaster off our hands; he is showing nothing and from what I've seen of him this year he's got nothing to offer. It's ok to be super fit and stand out among under 18's, but when you get to the big stage all the players are super fit and you lose the edge you may have had.

I personally love to see him fail each week just to stick it up that old fool Sheedy.

Hard to argue with that. Imagine if he had stayed and we were paying him $600k a year, we would have a mutiny on our hands. The 2 compo picks are starting to look really attractive now.

There it is, post no.6 - the 'Scully's good, we're crap' guy. There's always one.

Surprised he isn't copping more scrutiny. Combine being a #1 draft pick with being the highest paid player in the league and then look at his performances. Amazed he isn't copping more heat.

Watts is miles ahead as a #1 pick, and as a person!! We don't have to pay him 50k a kick too (and unlike Scully, Jack's kicks actually go where he intends them to)

Well, to be honest, Little Tommy is traveling a lot better then Trengove, we are really

stuck with this guy, can not drop the captain, and he can not buy a kick.

A decision will be required shortly and there will

be a few red faces.

Have we done well out of the deal,? depends if we blow both picks on a Silvia and McLean.

Hows the "Culture" up in Outer Western Sydney Tom ?

Parasites like you belong in that test tube team .

So happy you found your place in life you little bogan.

I think of all the starving children in the world when I imagine the waste of money poured into this team for what will be an enormous fail.

Skills , ability or character-I'll take JT over TS anytime.

bluey, do you ever visit the MFC site? No, I suppose only MFC supporters go there. Anyway, if you had, you would note that Trengove is in the top three for disposals and second for tackles so far in 2012. You might like to check similar categories for TS over at the Giant's site (at which I am sure you would fit in more comfortably).

Well I applaud your loyalty sir.

I think he will be ok but not the Judd or Ablett type they are paying him to be.

He really should be coping the treatment Watts has had over the last few years.

Happy to have the compo picks and Trengove who will be a player and is already a leader at our club.

Bluey's certainly not a giant; oh you mean giant supporter.

Bluey gets about 1 out of every 50 right and this isn't one of them.

I would not credit MFC stats, you probably are correct, but correct ball usage is paramount, to be third gatherer at our club, oh well.

Well one out of fifty would put your strike rate to shame, would Trenners walk for a million or even half that,?

We will never know, because nobody would make such a ridiculous offer,

look he may come good, but Neeld has made his bed,

placing the poor kid under this pressure, and I can tell you it is taking it's toll,

The MFC may benefit but history makes me feel nervous.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
