I think class is exactly what we're lacking. I do think it will click eventually, but I'm expecting big losses for the next 3 rounds and we'll be heading into the GWS clash with confidence at an incredible low. I know we are more than capable of thrashing teams like GWS, but as of now, I struggle to see it happening.

with blease and watts begining to hit their straps, hopefully the rest can follow suit. Jamar will start rucking to adv while howe will start kicking straight. Gysberts will be back in after the bye and suddenly we have a bit more silk. Optimistic? Maybe but I still think we can get something out of this season

Strangely, I'd rather beat North over the other 3 clubs.

I'd be happy with that too.

Purely to send Brad Scott into meltdown.

He's far too smug when refering to us.

Anyone. I just want to hear the song post-game. Can't wait to see, albeit on television, the players sing it in the clubrooms after. I'm craving that footage!

The problem with beating Collingwood is that all their supporters would rabbit on about how Melbourne treats a game against Collingwood like a Grand Final. I'd prefer a win over Carlton.

I do not care it is still wonderful beating them

actually I like losing

winning is just another form of bullying and an extension of regressive childhood behaviour

i think joan kirner had it right

we should be lobbying vlad to bring in kirner-rules and cease the keeping of scores in all afl games

.....just extractingb the urine (fpor those gullible readers)

Actually I think this may be the right way to go DC

You are onto something here

We have got too much class and ability to lose to gws and gold coast, even when we play brisbane and port im expecting wins because we have seen what melbourne are capable of. It will eventually click and it will start this week. Everyone will see the 'wheel' begin to move in the direction we all want it to.

If that is what gets you through the night Jonesbag.

But it is delusional, we do not have more class than GWS just a wee bit older

Fork em he may be smug but he is accurate

I'd hope that the likes of Clark, Jamar, Moloney, Jones, Frawley can help make easy of GWS and GC, but I'm not so sure anymore.

At our best, we'd blow GW$ out of the water by 100+ points. Unfortunately, we haven't been at our best since Round 13 last year.

Bombers without a doubt. They need to be taken down a few pegs.

Yeah the way their fans were waving their scaffs around after the win against west coast..... you would have thought they handed out premierships in may?!!

No sorry mate you need a perscription and I am not allowed to take single malt with them

No single malt, bugger that.

By the way, you don't know what your missing.

Essendon no contest.

Go over to Bomberblitz and see the arrogant disdain with which they hold us.

I can't blame them. We've been a joke too long to remember.

At least now we have a coach who won't tolerate any Red & Blue jumper wearing player, not putting his head over the bloody pill.

Carlton, dear god Carlton.

I would buy everypaper and read every article, tape every footy show where I might see/hear/read them say how bad the blues were.

Oh wishful thinking.

I reckon Ratten'll go season's end if they loose to us this week.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
