Did Mark Neeld say that Melbourne are going to go after seasoned players in the draft, rather than speculate on youngsters? Not saying that I would draft Medhurst, but he semi-fits that profile. Bit old, maybe, hasn't played AFL for a while, but if he nominates I am sure we would look at him. (Before rejecting him.)

Bit unfair. Crumbing forwards are paid to be selfish. They stand or fall on their scoring ability

There are no decent alternatives out there, unless the FD sees Jetta fulfilling that role.

Brad Dick is a more of a small forward than Medhurst. But he is keen to go back to Perth.
