I'm happy with this signing.

Having said that, if we got more players in the 'ageing' bracket i would be worried. We retired Green and got rid of moloney + Rivers may walk.

If someone had asked you - who would you prefer Moloney or Byrnes you'd say Moloney in a heartbeat

depends whether you're talking moloney2011 or moloney2012

depends on whether you're looking for a fast small forward or not

No I wouldn't!! Byrnes wants to play for Melbourne, Moloney doesn't. That puts the seal on it.

Let's not argue about that now. Moloney will be a loss though. Hopefully Byrnes can cover him? Was he injured this year??

cool footage dandee! Byrnes had a great game. Seems an opportunist type of player. May not play every match. May not even start in best 22?

As Geddy Lee said - Byrnes brings our grand total of small forwards at the club to 1...

He has a place Rd 1, 2013 and for the foreseeable future.

Finally landed a 28 year old forward pocket that wasn't in the best 22 in a team that finished 7th and no one else was after them. What a steal.

If I may balance post, I'm happy enough because he'll play that position better than anyone we currently have.

He will fill the gaping hole in our forward line left by Maric.
