Hi. I'm sorry this is old news, and I know many people will disagree with my opinion. However I feel I must publicly voice my disappointment in the changing of the teams logo. I'm upset about it on two fronts. First, I completely love the old logo. I think its a brilliant design in every way. Second, I don't like the new one, not at all.

Thankfully I have a large quantity of merchandise with the old logo to enjoy until the club embraces the demon logo again.

I agree, its a terrible logo. Way too much going on. That said, don't listen to me. I think i'm the only person that actually likes the melbourne white away jumper ;)

I am glad someone brought this up. The new logo is an over-busy dog's breakfast that looks like some second-year graphic design tafe student put it together.

Why couldnt we were our strip last night? Couldnt see the clash and i shifted uneasily in my seat when we ran out in those white soulless pyjamas.

Wait and see the other clubs will copy the "Shield" type logo. Its better than the ciggies packet.

What, you don't like the pink and white!

Why were we wearing it last night I cannot see a clash wiht WCE they are Yellow and blue

Yes Considering Wet Coke have White on the Home Jumper i thought once again it sucked.

And we all know my feelings on the Clash Strip!! But that is a side issue Today....

Posted

Great logo don't know what your issue is its something that will never outdate unlike character like logos IMO. Love the off field effort but without a team (not a whole heap of individuals) that can show some heart and sole all the off field stuff is lost

Posted

If people are going to whinge about the logo they either have too much time on their hands or they are just that annoyed with the form on the playing front that they will complain about anything.

If you look at the old logo it looks as though a primary school kid designed it and does not show anything other than our colours.

The new logo demonstrates more of who we are and what we represent in my opinion.

And to be honest we have more pressing issues to deal with than what our logo or away strip jumper looks like!

The new logo is outstanding!

IMO the best one we have had, and a fantastic initiative by the to put some genuine thought and meaning into it!

I think our logo ought to be Mr Whippy....after all hes all about Soft Serve !!!

What about the confused Demon of the mid 80's?

the best clash jumper is ours because we've kept it simple. carlton and bulldogs much the same just inverting colours or keeping same design.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
