Also as a positive anyone in the best in Casey will have a game next week.

2 positives. Wattsy and not being at the game.

Watts was ok but hes not showing the form of a number 1 pick. Darling shows more.

There were no positives this thread is a joke. NO POSITIVES!!!! POSITIVES FROM THIS GAME = DELUSIONAL (like bailey)

Watts and garland where great.

The only real thing I got out of the game are that I now have no expectations again this year. Getting use to this which is pathetic we are the only club that puts up with these kinds of loses.

Positive is that we are one step closer to a new coach. If essendon can force the hand of their board can we do the same???? I'm over it. It's impossible to stick up for the club when they put in efforts like this time and time again. SACK BAILEY now or they are going to lose a lot of members and players like Tom Scully

Watts.

Tapscott's hardness and desperation.

Trengove's marking.

Garland.

I agree with the first three, but it's hard to forgive Garland for his kicking in the first quarter. He, Grimes and Bartram gave them at least five goals from shocking kicks.

I was thrilled with Watts, although there were a couple of times I thought he could have attacked the ball and won it rather than letting it come to him. It's something he needs to learn, as do several of our more senior players.

Also loved Tapscott's hit behind play. It was a bit of a cheap shot, but it showed a little bit of fight when it was sadly lacking.

What type of game plan is handball in the backline to stationary players who are also under pressure until the opposition get a turnover and hence a goal

friggin' brilliant!

One other positive is our game plan cannot get any more predictable

Liked Watts' game but the team, overall was nothing short of insipid. I love this club, but they lack spirit and are bloody soft. I really cannot tolerate the how 'we are developing' argument after that performance. Frawley was terrible, Green has gone missing, Sylvia useless. No one seemed to want the ball or to be accountable. Honestly, Scully should take the money and leave this shambles of a team.

Ohh another positive, I got a casey season ticket with my membership

Positive? Officially Bailey won't be renewed. It will take 6 months minimum to turn this mess around and that takes us into September by which time MFC will be in summer recess.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
