Jurrah could be the greatest human being that has ever walked this earth.

Just wait. That'll happen again in about three weeks short of three years from now, and 35 000 Melbourne members will simultaneously jizz their pants, triggering earthquakes that'll be felt from here to China.

Bit late..but if you have sopcast installed and use this link: http://www.sopcast.com/channel/getchlist.iframe.html# in IE and click on Shanghai GSports, you will get a clean picture..but Mandarin commentary.

Thanks to Mijhaa on BF

Better late than never, thanks mate. Very grateful for the opportunity to see LJ take a couple of big marks and win the game at the end.

Was it me or was the timekeeping a little dodgy?

I made this statement back in January- Posted 15 January 2010 - 10:34 AM

Whilst we are discussing memberships, sponsorships, should Bails gain an extension etc.. one thing entered my mind --that is we need to plan for the match against Brisbane in China on the 17th October 2010.http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,8659,26379003-5018851,00.html

.This, indeed will make a very long season, especially for our young team.We would want to go full bore and play our best available team as China could become a paradise for us in the future. Re for gaining players, sponsors etc.. a GOLDMINE brewing. As we all know, we have invested there over the last few yearsd, got tremendous network via our former No 1 ticket holder John So. Therefore, we need to keep in mind that this season is going to be perculiar- in that the players most probably will only have a short break if we do not make he finals or still train on if we do. This also will change the normal pattern of pre season for 2011. This indeed maybe also why Bails may get an early extension

Your thoughts?

Wow -what a performance did we put up today- we saw the MFC in a brilliant light- one that Jimma would be VERY PROUD of .Well done to the whole team but in particular Liam Jurrah- JUST BRILLIANT. WATCH OUT EVERYONE FOR 2011 -GET ON THE BARN WAGON NOW- JOIN MEMBERSHIP NOW---

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm
