Steady on.

MFC should go for a fair deal and get Boak + 9 for Jamar.

Come on Melbourne get serious on doing a win win deal!!

Some clubs are active in trade week and their list managers are keen to do deals.

Others seem to mysteriously disappear and don't anything done.

Agree. Adelaide and Richmond have come to mind. No Jordan McMahon pick ups for the Tigers!!!

If MFC had not traded at all, you would get the inevitable naive posts concluding that MFC did not trade :

1. MFC believe our list is ready to challenge for a flag.

2. MFC have failed to improve its list.

3. MFC are negligent because they did not arrange a trade for Newton,Bell, PJ, Bartram and any other fringe player.

4. MFC believe the players in point 3 are must keep and are highly rated.

I am sure there are others.

Agree- we need to get tough- stuff them- we got rid of Jolly instead of Jamar for a rd 14 pick, it was only this season that Jamar has should he was worth us keeping him- now we should absolutely reject pick 9 only- he is woth more than what McLean ws gained for. Get seroius guys We will have no ruck strength at all-

RPFC and Rhino, you both post the same boring sarcasm everyday. It is not funny and your arrogence is ironic and moronoic.

Can you both stop trying to raise each others self esteem with your poor effort to display arrogance.

So was Darren Cuthbertson.

Point being?

I understand it was not lack of ability that cruelly cut short a promising career but tragic circumstances that he couldnt put behind him.

Point being that being "a good player in your day" is faint praise if you can't deliver on a regular basis, even if you have mitigating reasons. I used Cuthbertson as an example of a player whose best was very good, but it didn't translate in to a significant AFL career. I put Fisher in the same basket.

Yes, it is funny. My best stuff isn't sarcastic anyway. So I'm good, thanks.

Ironically arrogant? Huh? Does that mean you think I am actually very modest?

Cause and effect, people. You post nonsense, you get chastened.

If you don't wish to be judged - get a blog and disable the comments. Then you can write all the crap that you feel like, and no-one will hurt you with mean words.

Digga mate, do you honestly see it as arrogance?

I see it as having a little banter, they may be a little tired of seeing ridiculous trade propositions, or them finding time to pass because it's trade week.

If you don't like it, you have other options available. Like providing something to demonland.

Like taking candy from a baby ;)

I have to hand it to Rhino though, he kept his ego at bay unlike some.

HT of all people I thought you would have seen this one coming mate.

I just enjoy a fish every now and then. Contructive post / looking for a bite goes 50/50 with me. I should get a second tug from RPFC soon.

Don't be so sure.

I'm not. Just following the report in the Hun. Don't tell me Robbo got it wrong again ?

Has this anything to do with it Redleg - from the C.Brown thread ?: -

Hawthorn get Burgoyne.

Port get pick 9 and Jamar.

Melb get Brown.

Don't be so sure.

Would be very disappointed to lose Jamar. Will be severely depleted in the ruck stocks - I really rate Jamar's tapwork (easdily our best tap ruckman), even if his work around the ground has at times left a bit to be desired.

Would expect something quite decent in return.

Sorry you missed the sarcasm in my post.

There was no option for MFC at the end of 2004 to get rid of Jamar or Jolly. Sydney only wanted Jolly not Jamar. Jolly cracked the sads when he could not get game time when White was AA ruckman and wanted to leave. Jamar was well behind Jolly in the development stakes.

Why is anyone interested in Brown? He's an average player with average skills and he's a sniper. No, thanks.

Agree. Hawks supporters seem to see him as a "heart-&-soul-of-the-team" sort of player, but he wouldn't necessarily be "heart-&-soul" at another club if he did move. Would have thought that, to quote a phrase, he's more use to Hawks than to anyone else.

Jamar is one ugly man, one of many in the Melbourne side. Get rid of him and make PJ captain. ;)

I thought Trade tracker was going to stay around for trade week? I miss the fun or people looking like fools.

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
