Sure hope he's right! Would be great to see Wona strutting his stuff again on the big stage!

He looks in great shape. He has really trimmed down. I am sure with all his family watching from the stands he will play a blinder and vindicate the faith the club has shown him.

Go Dees!

Wona is in our long term plans if fully fit. Is young and exciting.

He's got genuine goal sense, he's a good mark and crumber and importantly he's an accurate kick for goal (always important as a forward).

He's also got good forward line pressure which is crucial these days.

Is he? I always thought of him as a small leading forward with good goal sense and always able to find space.

If you saw his 4 goal game against freo, that was some awesome crumbing.

But yes, I agree he is more a small lead up guy in the Medhurst mould.

Always good to have a few strings to your bow though

Jurrah, Bennel, Wona, Davey sounds a whole lot better than Betts, Yarran, Garlett

If you ask most commentators, it's "Gartlett". Sorry had to put that in because it really sh&$*s me that they can't pronounce his name right. Continue.

BTW, very excited to see Aussie live in the AFL for the 1st time tomorrow night. I've seen him in 2 VFL games but never in the AFL (was overseal all of 2008). Up here in Darwin he should get a huge reception.

Go Dees!!!!!

He's certainly a crumber too. His crumb off a Brad Miller or was it Green's marking attempt against Freo is the perfect example.

I'm moving to the Northern Territory, where we are apparently premiers.

Ahh, the NT News. One day they will get something right and hopefully that was it.

Some of the stuff they came up with in the 90's (when I lived there) made for a good laugh. I once was part of a front page story because a fishing boat I worked on broke down in the harbour.

Still it was better than seeing Eddies head in the paper every day.

All the best with your move. Hope things work out up there for you.

Wonna is good on the lead but he still the only true natural crumbing forward on our list. Davey may end up back there in the latter stages of his career but at present I see it as close to our biggest deficiency.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
